A/N: Hey guys! I just wanted to let you all know that the end of the season doesn't mean the end of the series, this story still has much more to do. I won't spoil anything but by the end of the chapter you should understand why I'm calling this the season finale. I hope you all enjoy and thank you all for reading for this long!

(Y/N) pov

The salty smell of the ocean filled the air as we got closer to the docks, the slow crashing of waves being the only sound besides footsteps. Thanks to Ozpin's evacuations there wasn't even the distant ambient sounds of the city, which only proved make this whole situation more eerie.

I stood in front, with the others in a group a few feet behind me, without Raphtalia I now had the best senses of anyone here. Truth be told I was nervous about what this thing would do, it's very wounded but if you push an animal into a corner it's only gonna bite harder. If I was by myself I wouldn't be as concerned but I've got other people t...

...I heard something!

I raised my hand, signaling for the others to stop, as I looked towards the direction I heard the sound come from. I took cover against the glass window of a waterfront café to my left. Looking over at what was making the noise ahead of me I could just barely see something moving. As I squinted my eyes to focus more I realized my mistake.

The thing making that noise was a small rock being lifted and dropped over and over again, the rock stopped and my senses readjusted to a new noise.

Slowly turning my head to my left, looking through the glass, I could see the white of it's eyes staring straight at me. I had enough time to roll to the side as the beast came bursting out of the shop, sending glass and debris flying everywhere. The only other that was as quick to react was Tifa, who managed to get into her boxing stance and slip a swing from the beast.

Raven got her arm up, tanking most of the hit with her armor but still getting thrown to the side from the pure speed of the attack.

Glynda managed to use her semblance to move the monsters arm so that the hit only grazed her.

Saber managed to swing her sword, essentially trading blows with the beast, but it wasn't much of a fair trade as her metal chest piece was dented in from the swing. She collapsed to the ground, coughing and wheezing from the air being forcefully pushed out of lungs, leaving her an open target.

By this point I had regained my senses and lunged towards the beast. Turning myself to smoke and reforming multiple times, I was able to get good hits on both of it's legs and cut even deeper into it's wounded wing. In retaliation it tried to swing at me wildly but now my semblance had activated completely, this thing couldn't hit me if it was twice as fast.

I was pulling it's attention enough for Raven and Tifa to come up behind it. Tifa landing a strong strike directly at it's knee, causing the joint to fold inward. Raven followed that up by sliding under the creature and slicing the broken joint, severing it completely. Glynda then used her semblance to throw the beast to the side, giving it no chance to balance itself.

The hybrid let out another yell, this one the most human sounding of them all, before collapsing under it's own weight. Saber stood up, igniting her sword before raising it in preparation to finish this creature. But before she could strike I raised my hand.

(Y/N): "WAIT! WAIT!" She stopped but looked at me confused...until she heard what I did.

Quiet sobs emanated from the hybrid. If I wasn't looking right at it I would assume the noise was coming from a normal person.

We all stood around, some curious, others horrified, but none of us new what to do. Slowly I started to creep towards the creature, even through the rage of my semblance I couldn't help but feel bad. As I got closer I crouched down, trying to get eye level with... whatever this is.
