(Y/N) pov
My vision was filled with bright flashes and my skin felt like fire as hundreds of dust rounds were fired at me. With only one option I once again turned to smoke, using all of my remaining might to push myself behind a nearby dorm. The campus turned to chaos as the night sky were filled with sounds of screaming civilians and high powered rifles.
But even though all of the mayhem I could still faintly hear the voices of students I had known, some concerned while others were angry, but none of them could believe it was me.
Atlesian Knight: "He's here light him up!"
My back stung and my hair stood up as electricity dust ignited the air around me. Through the muscle spasms I launched myself into the air, grabbing onto a window ledge and using it to continue my momentum onto the roof. I didn't need to be a rocket scientist to understand that things were only getting worse, and as if on que heavy footsteps fell near me.
At first glance there was nothing there, but upon closer inspection the outline of three humans could be seen only by the fact rain was seemingly landing on nothing.
(Y/N): "You inquisitor bastards never were as sneaky as you thought." The outlines stopped moving towards me for a moment, before the center one along stepped forward.
Lead Inquisitor: "The day you walked out of that court room alive was the first in a long line of failures Atlas made." He uncloaked and took one more step towards me before stopping. "There was a time I would've called you a hero, what should I call you now... killer."
(Y/N): "I've always been a killer you just don't like the idea of having to fight me... pussy." This must've hit a soft spot as he immediately re cloaked and sprinted towards me.
If I wasn't in the middle of a school and incredibly tired I might've tried to fight him, but I could tell I was running on fumes by this point. Following the splashing of his feet I waited until the last second before ducking, the wind above me whistling as his swing barely missed. Using this chance I took off in the other direction of the roof, the sounds of footsteps behind me tripling as I could only assume his backup began chasing me.
I dove from roof to roof as the situation around me only escalated with rounds hitting next to me, snipers starting to fire from rooftops, huntsmen activating semblances, and even a few bullheads began to take off. I had nearly reached the end of the school and still didn't have much of a plan... no plan at all really. As if the demonstrate how bad things got I heard the charge up sound of a bullheads guns come from behind me as I suddenly found myself in a spotlight.
Ironwood was crazy but as far as I knew he wasn't fire heavy ordinance in a school kind of crazy, clearly Ozpin is. The fiery roar of the guns made the rest of the chaos around it sound silent in comparison. I turned my semblance on and off, running like a cornered animal as fast as I possibly could towards the edge of Beacon with only once way to escape...
...the cliff.
I could feel the heat of the round on my feet as they hit the ground right behind me. Right as I was close enough to see over the edge, a sudden intense pain caused me to fall to the ground. I had just enough strength and momentum to pull myself over the edge of the cliff before I got shot again.
I activated my semblance, allowing the wind to pull me, so they couldn't just go to the bottom of the cliff and find me. After I had gotten about a mile between myself and Beacon I let my semblance deactivate, not enough strength left in my body to fight it anymore. Falling a solid 30 meters meant that I hit the ground with a thud but surprisingly stayed conscious, straining to raise my head I tried to figure out what had happened to me.
