Chapter 34

(Y/N) POV

The door swung open and I was greeted by the sight of Ruby smiling her normal friendly smile. 

Ruby: "Hello!" She hadn't realized who I was before she opened the door but as she took the time to look she let out a loud gasp. "(Y/N)!" She yelled before jumping onto me, wrapping her arms around me and holding on with all her might. 

(Y/N): "Hey Red. It's been a minute." I said calmly while wrapping my arms around her to return the hug. 

Ruby: "You just disappeared after our trip we were all worried sick!" She smelled me for a second before getting down. "I don't mean to sound rude but... when was the last time you showered?" She still had a polite smile but I could tell she was a little grossed out. 

(Y/N): "Sadly I haven't had the opportunity to since I left." With that Ruby's attention turned to Kali.

Ruby: "Who's your friend?" I took a second to ponder if I should tell her the cover story or who she actually is. 

(Y/N): "Well this is..." 

Yang: "Babe!" Yang shot past Ruby, grabbing me and pulling me into a kiss. It was a nice relief from the stress I've been under for the last few days but damn if this girl isn't surprisingly strong. "I've missed you soo much!" I chuckled rubbing my hand along her cheek. 

And yes, I'm talking about the one on her face. 

(Y/N): "I can tell." She leaned in towards my neck for a second before pulling away with a confused look on her face. She paused for a second just looking at me before leaning back into my neck again, this time audibly sniffing. 

Yang: "Why do you smell so bad?" It was kinda funny the first time but now I was starting to feel embarrassed. 

(Y/N): "It's a long story." I said while nervously scratching the back of my neck. "Anyways you're probably wondering who she is." I said while gesturing to Kali, who was still patiently waiting there. "Well she is..." 

Weiss: "What's taking you two so long!? Who's at the door!?" She stopped dead in her tracks when she made eye contact with me. "Oh i-it's you." I could tell she was trying to remain calm as she walked over to me. 

As she got to me she held her chin up in her normal confident 'Schnee' way, but as I continued making eye contact her little façade started to fade away. She slowly started putting her head down in a shy way before slowly wrapping her arms around me in a hug. 

Weiss: "I was worried about you." She said extremely quietly, just barely loud enough for me to hear. 

(Y/N): "Sorry to worry you teddy bear." I could feel her grip around me tighten as I called her the little nickname I came up for her after our first intimate moment. "Alright well I think it's time I introduce all of you to our guest!" I said a little loudly to get the attention of the rest of the team. "Wait a minute... where's Blake?" I said just now noticing the missing fourth member of the team. 

Blake: "Who's the cat?" I jumped as the sneaky faunus somehow managed to get behind Kali without me noticing. And how did she know Kali was a cat?

Kali: "Blake..." Kali's eyes were a little glossy as Blake stared at her trying to figure out who she was. After a few tense moments I could basically see the lightbulb appear above Blake's head as she pieced it together. 

Blake: "Mom?" She asked quietly. 

Kali nodded a few loose tears making their way down her cheeks as Blake moved closer and they hugged. The rest of team RWBY watched in shock at the sight unfolding in front of them. As they stopped hugging I could see that both of them had been crying a little.
