(Y/N) Pov
Kali: "B-Blake!? How do you know Blake!?" Her original caring nature disappeared, now she was very upset, getting in my face while yelling at me. "Please tell me how you know my daughter!" She grabbed my shoulder with tears in her eyes, practically begging me to give her any information about her daughter.
(Y/N): "I-It's a long story..." I said while putting my hands up in a slight surrendering motion. "...but it's a story I can only tell you if we live long enough for you to hear." I held her shoulders and stood up with her. "So if you don't mind I'd like to get out of here before Atlas tries to level the fuckin' place." Kali gave one look towards Sienna and Raphtalia before looking back at me, slowly nodding her head.
Cinder: "I can call us a bullhead for extraction but we're gonna need to get out of the city." Raphtalia looked like she was about to object but I didn't give her the chance.
(Y/N): "Work your magic Cinder." She gave me a nod before leaving the room to call in the evac. I looked over at Raphtalia, who was still staring me down like she wanted to kill me. "Did I do something wrong to make you want to kill me?" She didn't break eye contact as she spoke.
Raphtalia: "I know who you are." I'm not sure how it's possible but my brain shut down and went into overdrive at the same time. "I wasn't sure while you were sleeping but I recognized your voice." All right...All right... lets play this cool (Y/N).
(Y/N): "Oh really?" I said with a sarcastic tone and a smug grin. "Then who am I?"
Raphtalia: "The Shadow of Atlas." This caused Kali and Sienna to both start looking at me strangely as well.
Shit
(Y/N): "And how do you know that?" I was trying to maintain my composure but I wasn't shitting bricks, I was shitting the whole fucking brick making factory.
Raphtalia: "You're Atlas' poster boy, do you know how many propaganda commercials I've seen with your face in them?"
(Y/N): "I...um...I forgot about those." Raphtalia drew her sword while Kali moved away from me. "So what's gonna happen now?" Sienna took a more dominant role as she moved towards me, even though she was unarmed.
Sienna: "What's going to happen is you're going to leave and tell Ironwood that your little plan to capture us failed." I shook my head in disbelief.
(Y/N): "This wasn't a plan to capture you, I'm not working with Atlas." I was getting upset now, I stood up and pointed towards the window. "Do you know how many Atlesians I killed in an attempt to save your country!?" My mind went wild, filled with thought of what I did to Echo team. "I've been stabbed, shot, thrown around, and almost killed more times than I can count trying to stop Atlas, so don't you draw your sword at me!"
Everyone was shocked with what I said, Sienna and Raphtalia even moved back a little, but Kali was the first one to speak up.
Kali: "How do I know that you really know Blake?" It seemed like she was still suspicious, but also part of her hoped I was telling the truth.
(Y/N): "She has smooth black hair and really pretty golden yellow eyes." Kali turned away from me to say something to Sienna and Raphtalia, giving me a pretty good view. "Amazing ass she clearly got from her mother." I muttered to myself jokingly.
To my surprise the three of them stopped talking immediately before turning towards me. Sienna and Raphtalia had slightly disgusted looks on their faces while Kali put one hand on her cheek to cover her blush.
Sienna: "You've spent too much time around humans, Atlas boy." She pointed to the faunus ears on her head. "You forget what we can hear." My face went a little red as well as I simultaneously flirted with one of my girlfriend's mom and my girlfriend in front of her mom at the same time.
(Y/N): "Can we please not tell Blake about this?" Sienna and Raphtalia still looked like they hated my guts but I felt better seeing Kali give a cute giggle.
Kali: "Alright young man, you've convinced me." She walked up to me, much to the dismay of the other two, before pulling me into a hug. "If you really are helping me find my daughter, I can't thank you enough." I hugged back, not really sure what to do in this situation.
Cinder: "Am I interrupting something?" I was so distracted by the situation in here I hadn't noticed Cinder coming back into the room. "The bullhead will be here soon we should start moving." Kali let go of me and walked out of the room, I went to follow but was stopped by Sienna.
Sienna: "Kali may trust you but I don't." She said in a very passive aggressive tone... well probably more aggressive than passive. "If you do anything that I believe to be even slightly suspicious." She gestured to Raphtalia behind her who bared her teeth at me.
(Y/N): "I got it. I got it." I said while putting my putting my hands up to show that I'm unarmed.
Sienna: "Good." She walked out the door, but as Raphtalia went to follow I decided I would mess with her a bit.
(Y/N): "You look pretty cute when you try to be scary." She turned towards me with an upset look on her face, a mixture of pouting and anger. "See look how cute you are!" She shook her head and walked away.
Raphtalia: "If you weren't a mass murdering maniac you wouldn't be so bad yourself." Damn that hurt a little not gonna lie.
(Y/N): "Hey that's almost a compliment, not a bad start raccoon girl!" She gave me one last dirty look before we left the house.
The walk to the bullhead was uneventful, getting shot at a few times, having to dodge a few mines, almost being spotted by vehicles, the usual for the last few days at his point. Thankfully it being dark concealed our movements enough for it not to get too hectic as we made our way out of the city.
I felt a wave of relief wash over me as I put my hand on the bullhead door, pulling it open, I was greeted by someone I didn't think I would get the chance to see again.
(Y/N): "Tentacle man!" I gave him a high five as I jumped into the bullhead and took my seat. Raphtalia didn't share in my enjoyment to see him, instead she drew her sword for the hundredth time since I met her. "Don't kill the tentacle man, he's a good guy!"
The others, excluding Cinder, just looked at me with even more confusion and distrust than they had before. Their confusion only increased as Cinder followed me in, also giving the friendly grimm a high five before casually taking their seat.
Sienna: "I don't like this one bit! Kali we should just..." The look on her face was priceless as she realized Kali had already entered the bullhead and was kindly greeting the grimm. "I can't believe you!" She said very clearly upset with how comfortable Kali was.
It took a little convincing, but eventually they both got in the bullhead as well. As we got lifted off the ground I looked out the window to see the city, burnt and demolished beyond recognition. How many had died trying to protect it? How many of them were civilians?
But one question kept going through my mind, one I had been dreading since I got here.
How am I gonna break the news to Blake?
