Chapter 2

(Y/N) Pov

(Y/N): "Winter and Penny are probably worried sick." The thought had slipped my mind in all the commotion of the last few hours. "I should video call her on my laptop so she at least knows i'm alive." 

I sat down at my desk and pulled up my laptop. Opening up the video chat software I clicked call on the name Winter. It rang for a few seconds before it was answered.

Winter: "He... Hello?" The screen was still blurry and the audio cut out as it was still loading. "How did you get that laptop?" The audio became clearer and she sounded more sad than accusing.

(Y/N): "Well it is MY laptop." I said jokingly. The screen finally became clear, Winter's eyes were puffy and red like she had been crying for days. Her hair was a mess and she was slightly hunched over. She looked completely worn out. "Are you okay Winter? Did something happen?" Her eyes lit up and she froze when she saw the screen.

Winter: "Oh my Oum! Are you actually alive!?" Tears started falling down her face as she stared into the screen in disbelief.

(Y/N): "I'm perfectly fine, a few scars but that's it. Are you okay?" She was completely sobbing at this point. I was in just as much shock as her, I had never seen Winter so upset before. "Calm down Winter i'm okay. Just tell me what's wrong." 

Winter: "What's wrong? WHAT'S WRONG!" I think I may have fucked up in my choice of words there. "You leave on some secret mission! You're gone for 2 weeks! All the information I can get from Ironwood is that the mission went poorly! People were taking your things out of your room!" She was yelling in pure overwhelming emotion, sadness, anger, betrayal, all coming out in her words. "I THOUGHT YOU FUCKING DIED (Y/N)!!!"

She slumped back in her chair slowly regaining her composure. I was at a loss for words, I knew she would miss me but I didn't think she cared that much. 

(Y/N): "I'm sorry, I really am." My voice was quiet as I struggled to find the right words to say. "I just woke up from a 2 week coma. I know calling you should have been my first priority b-but things got hectic and I was confused and I didn't know what to do." I stopped to calm myself down, I started getting a little upset after rethinking everything I had been through because of Ironwood. I looked up at the screen. "I'm sorry."

Winter: "No it's my fault I overreacted I was just really happy to see that you were still alive." Her face was now bright as she smiled at me. "I can't wait for you to get back to Atlas so we can have a celebration!" Oh no, I have to tell her the news! Oum help me.

(Y/N): "Umm about that Winter..." I froze not sure how to tell her. Fuck it just get it over with. "I got transferred to beacon by Ironwood himself." Her face dropped, not into sadness, but anger.

Winter: "What!" She stood up and started pacing around her room. "That prick! How could he send you to beacon! You are an ATLESIAN specialist not a vale specialist!" She looked like she was going to march into Ironwoods office right then and start raising hell until I got transferred back. 

As funny as that may be it's best to keep Winter off of Ironwood's radar for now. Who knows what that slimy bastard is up to behind the scenes. I can't risk her getting hurt.

(Y/N): "It's fine Winter I can adjust to the new role eventually. Maybe even save some lives by giving these huntsmen in training some proper training." She calmed down a little but she still seemed hesitant. "Besides I already met some nice people. You may recognize one of them her name is Weiss. She kinda looks like you, almost like you could be sisters." I had the biggest smirk on my face but I couldn't help it.

Winter: "Well that's because we are sisters (Y/N)." I feigned shock by making an exaggerated gasp.

(Y/N): "I had no idea I thought that maybe there were just 2 similar looking Atlas born rich girls with the last name Schnee." Her face turned a light shade of pink as she realized I was joking with her. Oum she was cute when she looked like that, made me just wanna hug her. "I got to meet her team to." She turned back towards the camera with a serious face.
