A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the long delay, even though most of you probably expect that by now. Just wanna give a fair warning that this chapter is pretty dialogue heavy and will deal with more of the darker themes of (Y/N)'s past. If that's not a problem for you then keep reading, I hope you enjoy!
(Y/N)'s pov
Terra: "All this time... all that running... all the fighting... just to end up in the same spot you were meant to be years ago..."
I couldn't see anything, my body felt empty as I floated in the void. Nothing could be done as my body slowly turned around and around. No one was near me yet I could feel her hot breath on my neck and her soft lips pressing against my ear as she whispered.
Terra: "Dead in the snow."
My body shot up, my vision was blurry and blinded by lights. I let out a cry, grabbing my leg with both hands as it felt like I had just stuck an open wound in every type of dust possible.
I swung around violently as I felt arms wrap around me, trying to activate my semblance only caused more pain forcing my aura to deplete rapidly. I still couldn't see where I was but I could tell I was lying on the floor by the feel of the cold stone.
Sienna: "Take it easy there tiger! You're gonna hurt yourself more than you already are." My heart was beating out of my chest as I desperately tried to clear my vision. "Kali go tell Salem he's awake."
Kali: "On it." I tried to control my breathing as I felt more secure knowing who was around me.
I felt a pair of hands rub the back of my slumped over body, it was the only feeling of comfort I had on the freezing pavement. Even as the pain in my leg began to clear it still had a lingering pins and needles effect. But there was no way to see what was wrong, no matter how much I rubbed my eyes my vision wouldn't clear.
As my breathing finally got under control and my heart rate got to a point where it didn't feel like I was running a marathon, I started to think back to everything that happened. First I got shot in the leg, then I landed in Vale, walked around for a bit, and finally passed out... so how the fuck did I get here?
I could hear footsteps coming into the room before stopping.
Salem: "What are you waiting for!? Get him off the floor!" Immediately I was lifted off the floor and layed onto a soft blanket. "My dear you need to learn to relax." I flinched slightly as her cold hand stroked my hair.
(Y/N): "Well... it's a bit hard to stay calm when I can't see two inches in front of me." Her hand pulled away from my face.
Salem: "Cinder why can't he see?" Despite it being such a normal question, when asked by the Queen of Grimm, it sounded more like a threat.
Cinder: "He's been out for a few days. Blurred vision is to be expected for the first few minutes of him being awake." There was silence for a moment before Cinder spoke up in a much more hurried tone. "B-but I could give him some eyedrops that should speed up the process."
I could only assume Salem approved as I heard the sounds of Cinder stepping out of the room. Once again I grabbed my leg as it felt like my calf was getting the worst cramp I'd ever had, but my mind was quickly jolted away from the pain.
First I ran my hand up and down my leg,
then I squeezed it... well tried to.
It didn't feel like my leg, not like flesh on bone and muscle, it felt like metal. Cold, hard metal up to my thigh.
(Y/N): "Why do I have a metal cast around my leg?" My heartrate started picking up again as the room filled with a deafening silence.
Cinder: "Here try this." She said while lifting my head back. "Blink fast once I put the drops in or else they won't work."
