Anastasia

There I was now, standing at the side, withnothing to do but watching the chaos down in Trost unfold. After the fight was over, and we had (more or less) won, I could hear murmur about a boy having turned into one of those giants and put a huge rock in front of the whole in the wall.

I'd say that is good enough for now. Between that trouble, they didn't really have time to discuss what to do with me. Dot Pixy came over to me at one point. "So, you still wanna help?" "Yes, sir.", I replied. "Well then, you just go over to Erwin with me. I'm sure he is glad for every help he can get, especially such a talent help."

"Sir, may I go look for a close friend of mine first? He must be alone and looking for me.", I asked, looking around for Tom,hoping he would be alive. "Of course, just come find us before the survey corps leave. Unless you woulld like to stay here, young lady.", he said before turning and leaving.

That was surprinsingly easy, somehow.I was nder the impression he wouldn't give me as much free space as he then ultimately did. But I caught myself pretty quick and started looking around, trying to find Tom. But I couldn't see him anywhere, nor any of the guests from the inn.

I went up to the registration people, asking for Tomas Dietrich, or any of the others, but they said they didn't know them. They had not seen anyone that fitmy description. "Thank you anyway.", I mumbled, before turning and going over to find Dot Pixy. He stood with blonde man and a pretty short black haired man, a quite attractive one, I must say. But at the moment, I did not have room in my mind for that.

"Dot Pixy?", I asked, not wanting to intervene in any potential ongoing conversation."Ah, have you found your friend?", he asked, with a warm smile. "No, sir.", I replied. "Oh...", he replied. "My deepest apologies. But now that you are here, this is commander Erwin Smith." Pixy nodded towards the tall blonde man.

"Anastasia Srijokowitsc.", I replied. "Well, Miss Sjiro...Srijoko... Miss Anastasia here is a civilian, but she managed to kill... how many titans?" "Seven, sir.", I replied. "Now that is quite a good quote, considering you have no military training.", commander Smith replied.

"And you want to join the survey corps, did I understand that correctly?" "Yes, sir", I replied. Erwin nodded slowly and looked over at Dot Pixy. "Well, I suppose with a recommendation from you and a test of her skills, we can take her in." "I will  leave her with you, then.", Dot Pixy said and walked away.

Erwin looked at  me with a smile. "Now, you can go with Hanji once she arrives. She will take you to the head quarters, show you around and then we will do your skill test before the new recruits arrive. Now where is Hanji-"

"Hellooo!" I turned to the female voice behind me. There was a brown haired woman skipping our way and stopping behind me. "Huh? Who are you?", she asked. "Hanji, that is Analise Sri-...I am deeply sorry, could you repeat your name?", Erwin asked. "Srijokowitsc.", I said really slowly. "But I will be totally fine if you just call me Ana."

Erwin nodded slowly as the woman bounced next to me. "Alright. Hanji, please bring Ana to the head quarters, make her a personal file and then get her into a room. Best your own until we test her. We will do the tests as soon as Levi and I arrive back at the head quarters." "Okay dokey, come with me, Ana."

The brown haired woman turned on her heels as she took my hand and walked over to a carriage. "Now, Ana, come on and let's get you somewhere safe and give you some food. You must be quite disturbed, no?"

"I'm okay.", I replied. "But... some food wouldn't be too bad." "Great, great. I am hungry too, we will eat after I showed you around at the head quarters.", Hanji told me as she got into the carriage. I followed her isnisde and sat on the right side, looking out the window.

This wasthe first timI actually saw some more of the land that I'd been brought to than just Trost. It was a beautiful landscape, forests, fields, lakes. It reminded me of my home. The one I'd known before I got to the anchor.

It was around 6pm as we arrived at a castle like building. This must be the head quarters. Hanji got out of the carriage and walked inside with me.I heardsome of the soldiers around us whisper as Hanji showed me around.

They were wondering why I was her, the recruits were supposed to arrive in a few days, so I couldn't be one. The logical next question to this was who I am and why I am here. But Hanji did not care and just kept explaining.

We finished our tour in the cantine. "Now, did you understand anything so far? The building is huge, I know, but you will find your way around in no time. I am very sure. Let's just get some food now." I nodded to Hanji's question and sat down atone of the tables as we were waiting for the food to be ready.

The hall was filling with soldiers, that were hungry from traingiand working all day. They were talking and laughing, this was such a different atmosphere compared tothe anchor, way morecalm and less strict. I knew I would really come to like this place.

"Now, we can do the whole stuff with your file tomorrow, yeah? you've had enough stress for today." "Yes, thank you."
