"Reiner. Marco trusted you." He stopped in his tracks. I could hear the voices outside. "Why is he stopping?", Connie yelled. They were alive, thank god. "Doesn't matter.", Jean replied. "Attack." I couldn't see what they were doing but I felt an explosion hitting Reiner's right side, short later his left side. And a final one hit right above me. Reiner seemed to have been blown out of the titan, I tried to move, to let the others know I was alive and still in here but they didn't notice. I was loosing conciousness again as my lungs suddenly didn't move anymore. Reiner had been telling the truth. My lung didn't work on their own anymore.
But what about Maggie? I promised to come back. I also promised Levi to come back. But, was he even alive still? It had been way too quiet outside the wall for some time now. Nevertheless, I couldn't break my promises. Somehow, some way, I had to get out of here.
Hanji
We had lost Reiner to these other people. Mikasa was with Eren and Armin, probably also Levi who had the injection. "Jean, where is Ana?", I asked. Jean looked down. "We don't know.", he admitted. "She went after Reiner, so when Berthold transformed, she likely was too close. We thought she might have hid behind Reiner but then he showed up and Ana was nowhere to be seen. Either the explosion killed her...or Reiner did when waking up." I stared at him for about half a minute before taking a deep breath.
"We will go back to the others. Don't say anything about Ana yet, I will do that when the time is right." By the time we got to to them, they were fighting about something, Levi held the injection with the serum, while both Erwin and Armin were laying on the roof half dead, between then Berthold without any limbs. I was holding back Mikasa as they kept arguing about who should get the serum, but I had zoned out. Thinking back to something Ana had once said to me.
"Armin's really valuable to us, he's smart." Ana shook her head at my comment, looking out the window towards the squad who was running laps in the snow. "I think his worth lies far beyond that." She coughed a bit and sipped her tea. "I died because I didn't have anything to fight for, I didn't have dreams so at the first chance, I gave up. Armin keeps finding these incredible plans and ways to solve a problem, because he has all these dreams that he's fighting for." She smiled. "I admire him. If it was between Armin, and someone who's just smart or a good fighter. I think I'd choose Armin. His dreams and hopes are contagious." "Ana you should really go back to sleep.", I said, refilling her tea. "The fever is making you all sentimental." Ana furrowed her eyebrows and thought for a moment. "Maybe so, but I got this feeling we'll have to make a decision like this one day."
"You should give it to Armin.", I heard myself said before fully registering it. "His dreams are contagious. Ana once said that to me." Levi looked over at me, then at all the others. "Where is Ana?", he then asked. My comment must've made him notice she wasn't there. If I told him now that we didn't know and that she was likely dead, Levi would go against all rationality and try to find her. "Hanji?", he kept pushing. "She's looking for my squad.", I lied. "If any of them are still alive."
I could see the tension leaving his shoulders, but he had never let me lie before, he always caught me why not this time? Maybe he wanted to believe me this time. Because seeing through my lie would mean accepting that she was dead and I didn't want to tell him. "Manipulative of you to bring her into this argument.", Levi said, glancing towards Armin. "Because her opinion is the only one that really matters to you.", I replied and he nodded. "We have to save the commander, he's humanities hope.", Floch yelled.
"Everyone out of the danger zone, we're doing this.", Levi then ordered and we dragged everyone away, watching from afar as Levi stood there for a bit longer before walking over to Erwin. He squadded there for a bit but then got up and over to Armin. After injecting him, Levi flew back over to us with Erwin. He landed next to me. I had to tell him. "Levi?.... about Ana." "Yes?" He had this expression on his face like he already knew what I was gonna say. "I lied."
"No. She's out looking for your team's bodies.", he replied. It sounded more like he was convincing himself than me. I looked down. "Levi, maybe someone should go look for her body." When he didn't respond, I looked back up and saw his hands shaking. "Then...I will do that." He turned on his heels before I was able to respond. Taking off into the direction of the crater from Bertholds transformation. I was gonna go after him, but my gas was empty so I had to stay behind.

Air filled my lungs as I could finally open my eyes again. I was stuck in the fles of an evaporating titan. How did I get here? Where are the others? Where is Reiner? The collosal titan was gone too, the fire had burned out, the fighting noise formoutside the walls was gone. The last thing I remembered was blowing a hole into the side ofthe armoured titan adn hiding in there. I barely remembered talking to somene and that he had attached me to his nervous system. How long was I inside this titan talking to him?
One of my arms was still stuck in the flesh of the titan while I tried to reach for my blades but they were stuck as well. Also my muscles felt like pudding. From all that squeezing, my body probably needed to get some blood back into the veins before I could move properly. Most of my memory form the timeinside the titan was gone.
My throat was still hurting from the burn, but I could breathe enough to stay alive, which was everything that mattered. I don't know how long I'd layed there for but I could slowly move my arms again and my legs were almost out. There was a noise all of a sudden, a 3dmg. Someone was near me, so I started calling out. "Hey! I'm still here! Someone help me!" The person stopped in their tracks and then came towards me. I could barely recognise themform afar. "Levi?"
