Anastasia

When I woke up, Levi was already gone. I got up and opened the door to the office, seeing him sitting at his desk doing paperwork or whatever. "You're allergic to sleep, aren't you?", I mumbled, combing my fingers through my hair to untangle it a bit. "Good mornign to you too.", he just replid before looking over at me. "Belive it or not, I've only been here for a few minutes.", Levi then added.I raised an eyebrow, not sure if he was just making excuses, tho he didn't seem like someone who likes to lie much.

"How late is it?", I asked. "You got 30 minutes 'til breakfast, if that's your question." "Thanks, I'll see ya there then." I picked up my blanket that i had left on the couch the night before and went over to the door. To my favour, there was no one on the corridor when I walked over to Hanji and my room.Of course, she was already up, working on something I wasn't even sure I wanted to know about. "Morning.", I greeted her, walking straight over to the bathroom. When coming back out, Hanji was giving me this knowing smirk. "What?", I asked, looking down at my uniform to check for possible mistakes.

"Why areyou giving me that look?" "Did you..." But her tone told me all I had to know. "No. God no, Hanji, what do you think of me?!" "Oh nothing, just wanted to know if you brushed your teeth already.", she said, with this exaggarated innocent voice. "Of course you did.", I replied, chuckling as I  went over to my bed which was covered in files, reports, notes and drawings from Hanji. I sorted them and put them to the side. "How can you find anything in this mess?", I asked, looking at her over my shoulder.

"Pff.", she huffed. "Only fools need order, the genius masters the chaos." "Did you just quote Albert Einstein?", I asked, chuckling. "Who is Albert Einstein?" "No one, let's just go to breakfast, yeah." In the end, I had to drag Hanji away from her desk by the arm to get her to the dining hall. "We're leaving for the coronation in about half an hour, everyone be ready by then.", Erwin said at the end of breakfast before going to his office. Hanji, Levi and I were walking towards our floor together while the woman next to me complained about not having anything to wear and that I didn't have anything either.

"This is a formal event, four eyes, not a party.", Levi sighed. "We're gonna attend uniform, like planned." Hanji huffed. "You're all so boring, come Ana, we'll get that coat then." And before I could react, Hanji pulled me towards our room. I gave Levi an apologetic smile before following her. And believe it or not, we actually managed to be on time for the coronation. Standing in front of a huge podium with Historia, Zachary and a few officials on top of it.

"Beautiful dress, isn't it?", I whispered over at Levi who was standing next to me. The others from the squad were standing a bit behind us, somehow Hanji had convinced Etwin to let me stand with them somewhere in the front. As her "emotional support sister" as she'd said. "If you say so.", he mumbled back. I huffed. "Just saying, she's looking really pretty." "I've seem prettier." Levi glanced at me from the corner of his eye.

I fought to hold in a chuckle. "Damn, didn't know you could be cheesy. Took a lot of self convincing, didn't it?" "Mhm, and felt disgusting.", he replied sarcastically. "But I meant it.", Levi then added, as if scared I'd take his complaining seriously. He was a little awkward still but that's part of what I lived about him and I was glad he was warming up.

"You two are gossiping like teenage girl.", Hanji whispered over to me and Levi but was a tad but too loud and got a warning look from commander Erwin so we all shut up. After tge ceremony, Hanji and Erwin were off somewhere discussing something while Levi and I stood in the corridor waiting. "You really have to start standing up every two hours in the middle of the night.", I said, keeping my tone lighthearted to not sound scolding.

"Do I wake you up? Sorry, I didn't mean to." "Oh no, just didn't mean that for my sake I mean, if you wake up because of something that bothers you, it won't help to just start working... please just wake me and let ne try to help, yeah?" He nodded a bit. When glancing past Levi, I saw the squad approaching and quickly changed the topic. "The whole organising stuff is gonna be way easier with Historia as queen, I'm glad that's settled."

Levi looked confused for a second before following my gaze and noticing the others coming towards us. Mikasa was telling something to Historia who pushed up the sleeves of her dress, eyes fixed on Levi. What were they up to? The small blonde woman walked straight over to us and punched Levi's arm, with not much force but a lot of determination.

I couldn't suppress a small smile at her triumphant smile. "Hah! What are you gonna do about it? I'm the queen, you can't tell ms what to do." The others all seemed so excited about thus, watching Levi for whatever reaction was to come. But instead of anything they'd expected, nothing happened. He just... smiled. Even I was surprised by the whole situation. "Thank you guys, for everything."
