Levi

Hanji, Armin and Mikasa came back about half hour later. Four eyes was carrying Ana on her back who was unconcious. "What happened?", I asked as Armin rolled out a thick blanket onto ground next to the wooden plank I was laying on so that Hanji could put her down. Whatever Floch did, I'm gonna kill him for it. Having Ana close again after all that happened these past days was a calming feeling. "She's just sleeping, don't worry. Ana was very tired after leaving this controlled state.", Hanji replied, pulling the soup pot and fire place over so that she could make the soup while sitting next to Ana.

Four eyes noticed how I kept looking over at Ana every now and then, seeing if she was waking up. "Give her the night.", she mumbled. "She needs the sleep." "I know, I just.... I'll kill this Floch guy. He's even higher on the list than the monkey now.", I replied, not looking away from Ana. She did seem comfortable and peaceful the way she was sleeping there. Four eyes was pr9bably right about this "just sleepping" thing.

"What's that in her hand?", I asked, trying to reach out for the small metal thing. "Your ring.", Hanji said, taking it from Ana's hand and giving it to me. "I took it from the river where Zeke blew up." "And you didn't think of giving it back sooner?" Hanji chuckled nervously, scratching the back of her neck. "I needed it for the plan, sorry Levi." "Well.... I have it back now, so I guess its fine."

Four eyes went back to making soup, cutting potatoes into the hot water. "Someone wanna help me? Instead of you all just glaring at eachother?" "We slaughtered eachother and now we eat from the same po. Why did you change your minds? If you let Eren do his thing, you get what you want, a paradise for he devils of the island. We almost managed to keep Eren and Zeke from touching but you had to come help them.", general Magath said.

This fighting as getting annoying so I checked one last time if Ana was really comfortable before giving in to the exhaustion building up from my injuries. The voices form the others arguing slowly drowned out into some nice silence. I was woken up by the others fighting and these two children begging us to help them. Ana was starting to stir from the noise. "If one of you brats wakes up Ana, the rumbling won't be your biggest problem so shut up."

Anastasia

The sun woke me up the next morning, I felt well rested for the first time in days, maybe weeks. My memories from the time I was controlled were a bit chaotic, I remembered a fight in Shiganshina against Marley soldiers. I remembered Jean and Connie yelling at me. I remembered hurtng Hanji.... why did this have to happen again?

I got up slowly, seeing the others had already packed their stuff, Hanji had leaned down to wake me. "Good morning, Ana. How are you feeling?", she asked. "I'm okay, thanks." I looked around and saw Levi laying on the cart, half his face covered in bandages. "Oh my god, what happened." Hanji walked after me as I hurried over to Levi's side. "Oh, Mrs. Ackermann is also finally awake.", he mumbled weekly. "Don't worry, I'm okay." "Doesn't look like it.", I replied and he told me the story about how Zeke blew himself an Levi up as we left towards the haven.

"Is the pain bad?", asked, knowing it's a stupid question but I didn't know what to say. I expected him to downplay it or give me a sarcastc reply to my stupid question but neither happened. "Hurts like hell. But I'll pull trough, four eyes is indeed good for something. Took good care of my injuries." "Was that a compliment I heard from you, Levi?", Hanji asked, from the frnt of the cart. "I'll take it back if you're gonna be annoying about it.

I was gonna reach for his hand when I noticed something. "Wait. How many fingers did you lose?", I asked, looking a his right hand. "Just those two, the other hand is fine.", he replied. "Just those two?" "Love, you didn't think telling me you lost two fingers would've been necessary?" We were interrupted by Pieck coming to tell us that the Yeagerists had taken oer the port. General Magath and Hanji were making plans while the rest of us prepared gear and weapons for a fight. It was the first time that I had the chance to talk to Pieck, Reiner, Gabi and Falco again.

The two children were the first who came over. "Commander Ana, it's good to see you again." "You too Falco." I looked over at Gabi. "Can you forgive my betrayal?", I asked with a slight playfullness to not make this too serious. "I get why you had to do it. But you were still a cooler commander than the others we had.", she said, smiling up at me. "Guess I missed some major changes of mind, huh?" Gabi chuckled a bit before looking over at Levi. "So that's the guy you're married to?", she then asked, wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Yeah-" I was interrupted by Reiner coming over. "You're te most confusing person I know, can you finally tell me where we met before?", he asked. "Well first on wall Maria, when you revealed your and Bertholds identity, then in Shiganshina when I wwas in the side of your titan and told you I was from Marley, which was a lie and thhen we actuall met in war a few times and in Rebellio." "Wait, you were inside the side of his titan?", Gabi exclaimed.

"Yeah, I was trying to hide from an explosion in a hole that I'd blown into his side. That's how we found out that through regeneration and under special circumstances, titans can link their nervous system to someone elses and share thoughts an memories as well as move the other person.", I explained, realising myself how ridiculous I sounded. "That sounds messed up on so many levels.", Falco mumbled but Gabi seemed excited. "I think it sounds super cool."
