"So?" "We have no chance in beating them in combat. They're three titans and we're one. Not to mention the huge difference in experience and knowledge regarding these titan shifter. We wouldn't stand a chance." "What's you alternative then?" I let out a sigh, I didn't really like to do this but it was our only way. "Manipulation at it's finest. We gotta take the blonde guy's psyche apart bit by bit."

"Manipulation? Care to elaborate?", Levi asked, I had expected one of his sceptical looks but he seemed to be intetested in what I said. "They were twelve when the wall fell. Twelve. Children at that age don't commit genocides. I mean, what were you doing at twelve years old?" "Beating up grown men, but go on.", he replied. "Oh so you can make trauma jokes but I get scolded for it? Hypocrite." Levi let out a sigh. "Okay I'm sorry, go on... please." "Well, I was thinking, twelve year olds don't turn into titans destroy a wall and commit genocide on a civilisation they've never met. That seems like a way too organised plan."

Levi seemed to understand. "You're saying they were sent, hence child soldiers." "Hence mentally unstable and traumatised people, which is the easiest group of people to manipulate. Just found out one of them seems to have some kind of split personality, like an internal fight. I've seem that often in children that were sent as spies. They can't differentiate their spy persona from their real character and then start developing a whole new personality."

"So, you want to trigger his mental instability.", Levi asked, confirming my plan. "Yes. In the best case scenario I can cause a complete breakdown and in the worst case buy you guys some time while he is distracted." Just as I finished, a soldier came jogging over to us. "Commander Erwin send me, to deliver this. He said you have a history of knowing objects and names no one has heard of before so you might know what this is.", the soldier said, handing me a cup and a book. "We found this at a supposed resting place of the enemies."

I looked at the cup, noticing the rests of dark beverage inside it. After smelling it, I raised a brow. Is that... "Coffee?" It was silent for a bit. "I don't believe coffee beans grow here. This drink is not from inside of the walls.... neither is this book.... the Odyssey by Homer. That's a damn old book. Probably doesn't exist in here either. "Tell the commander thanks for this stuff. I got a plan for the armoured titan, let's hope it works." The soldier saluted and left.

"Are you sure this is a good idea. That's a pretty fragile plan, what if he lashes out at you? I won't let you get hurt.", Levi said, as soon as the soldier was out of ear's reach. "It's the best plan I could come up with and it's safer than trying to fight them directly. Especially since Reiner in his armoured titan is hard to attack physically, our only chance might be getting to him mentally.", I replied, Levi didn't seem too convinced. "I'll be fine, I promise. I think I'm more similar to them than I think, so this should work just fine."

He sighed again. "Just don't accidentally trigger yourself, in the process. Because this sure sounds like you're talking about your own mind too when you speak of triggering trauma of child soldiers." I looked down, realising he was right. Triggering myself too was possible in my plan but this might be our own shot. "I got this, I promise." We heard a loud bang from a noise signal pistol and then a soldier yelling. "There's a hollow space here."

Before anyone could get to the soldier tgat had called out, he was stabbed with a sword by someone who'd been inside the walls. It all happened so fast that by the time we registered what was going on, tge stabbed soldier was already on the ground. Levi was the first one to reactwhen Reiner left the hole in the wall. But the attack had no use, every normal person would've been dead immediatly. Apparently not these titan shifters tho. Reiner was laying on the ground, after having transformed, still, probably passed out.

"Find the other enemies and watch out for-", Erwin was interrupted by a bunch of those bright lighting strikes that came from transforming titans. There couldn't possibly be this many titan shifters here. That's impossible. But no, when the smoke cleared, I just saw that monkey and a bunch of regular titans, who seemed oddly still tho, like waiting for an order. Did the monkey control all of them?

He picked up a huge rock and turned a bit, lifting his leg like a shot putter would before his push. And just like a shot pusher, he threw the rock our way, hitting the big hole in the wall Maria perfectly, cutting out horses off. We had no chance of getting away now. This was planned long before we got here. They didn't want just Eren anymore, they wanted the hole survey corps out of existence. Reiner seemed to slowly recover, as he got up from the ground.

Just as we reached all of the others, Reiner was starting to climb up the wall, the had us caged between him and the beats titan with his dozens ofother titans. "Avoid conflict with the armoured titan!", Erwin called out. He seemed to be waiting for the enemies to make their first move. So far, no one had gotten severely hurt and we hadn't been directly attacked, except the one soldier that died. Eventho many soldiers were starting to get nervous, waiting seemed like the right choice, especially looking at our disadvantage regarding knowledge about our enemy.
