The sun was coming up as we stood on the walls, as Hanji prepared a huge amount of explosive material to just blow the titans neck up. "You think this will do? Or is this just one of your crazy experiments?",  I asked chuckling and she turned around me. "Both.", she smiled, jumping up and down. Rodd Reiss was geting closer and closer to the wall, and the canons weren't working. Everything went by so quickly, Eren threw the bombs right into the titans mouth. It was quite disgusting as his neck exploded.

In the end it was Historia destroy the core, probably for the best so the people would trust her as the new queen. Hanji hugged me withher one not bandaged arm as I got back to the wall. "It worked.",she squealed. "Wasn't that amazing?" "A little bit disgustig if you ask me but it worked, so you're officially a genius and I'll never doubt you again.", I replied with a weak smile, wiping the steaming blood off my forehead. "You doubted me?" "To be honest, for a few seconds there I thought we were all dead." "You got alittle bit of bowels there, by the way.", she said, pointing at my hair. "What?! Ew. Take it out."  But Hanji was just laughing atme while I searched my head for whatever was stuck there.

"Just joking. Don't worry, you look great....for someone covered in blood." I huffed. "That's a state I'm used to. Used to be human tho.", I joked, but Hanji just looked at me. "I shouldn't make trauma jokes, should I?", I asked and Hanji waved her hands a bit. "Maybe not." We started clearing up the district, when somewhen in the late afternoon when I met Hanji back on the wall. "Everyone seems to be okay. Doyou know where Levi is tho? Haven't see him all day."

She turned to me, grin on her face. "Someone worried?", she joked but then let out a breath when she noticed I was being serious. "Him and some others went out to find the remainign people from Kenny's team and Kenny himself. They should be back by now, tho. Someone should go look for them." "Copy.", I replied already walking to the edge of the wall already. "Hey Ana, you still have some explaining to do when you come back.", Hanji reminded me.

"I kissed him.", I just replied, flying off the wallwithout saying anything further while Hanji called out from behind me. "What?! Ana, you can't just say stuff like that and leave! Ana!" But I was already too far off. The sun already started to set, by the time I saw someone in the distance that, with a lot of imagination, could look like Levi.

Levi

"Got yourself a girlfriend, I see?", Kenny coughed, spitting out some blood and something that seemed to be a tooth, disgusting. He was looking at something way behind me. When turning, I could see Ana somewhere in the distance, she hadn't seenus yet tho. Did she come here looking for me? "She's not my girlfriend.", I replied. "Why not? Beautiful woman and I heard you got the same hobbies.", he let out a weird chuckle that turned into a cough. "Tho I'm not sure if fighting and killing people is something to build a relationshit on, you know what I'm saying." The question from before popped up  in my head again. How did this woman in Kenny's team know Ana?

"Who was that woman in your team that knew her?" "You mean Caven? ... Well, if they know eachother from Caven's time as an assassin, then your girl over there, that's a dead woman." "How dare y-" But he interrupted me. "I'm not threatening her, I'm stating a fact. When I met Caven she was talking shit all the time, about weird devices, unknow places outside of the wall. She said she'd died and then somehow woke up here." Kenny just kepton mumbling and mumbling, most of the sentences didn't make much sense. "If you don't believe me just ask her how she died."

"Oh come on Kenny, you can't think I'm that stupid, do you?" A beat of silence. "Kenny?" He didn't respond anymore. Kenny was probably dead. Ana's voice pulled me out of my line of thought. "Hey Levi, did you find h-" She cut herself off when seeing Kenny's dead body sitting against the tree. "Already dead.", I replied. "Job here is done." "Are you coming back then?", she asked and I just hummed in agreement.

Ana looked at Kenny one last time, almost disappointed, maybe she'd also wanted to ask him about the woman. But then she just took me hand, and turned towards the wall starting to walk. Why was she holding my hand? Why had she kissed me back then? This woman just kept confusing me, over and over again, but how could I ever be mad at her whne she was just.... well, Ana. Kenny's words  weren't leaving my head either until- "Ana?" "Mh?" "How did you die?"

She stopped in her tracks, letting go of my hand as she stared at the floor in front of us. Allthe color had drained from her face as she chuckled nervously. "How'd you come up with such a question. I'd say I'm pretty alive."But her voice was shaking toomuc for me to believe what she was saying.
