Anastasia

"That four eyes is probably gonna be okay. She would've been hurt way worse if it wasn't for you." I raised an eyebrow. What did I have to do with this? He seemed to have noticed my confused expression so he added: "The soldiers that brought you here told us what happened. They also said, you pulled several people out of the air so they'd land on the wall instead of falling all the way to the ground, apparently, that's what made your injury resurface."

"I don't remember much.", I admitted. "Everything between the explosion of the three guys turning into titans until I woke up on the wall is a blurr." "Must've hit your head too.", Levi said, he had been looking at his work, the whole time. I got distracted by the pastor in the corner of the room shifting in his chair. "Maybe we should talk a little more quiet." But the black haired man on the chair just huffed. "He's withholding important information that could save thousands of people, I don't really care if he get's his beauty sleep or not."

"Touché.", I mumbled, resting my head back down on the pillow. "Why are you awake?", I then asked. It wasn't that I wanted to talk to him at all costs, but not asking back seemed a bit rude to me. "Someone's gotta watch that guy so he doesn't try to escape and you need your rest to recover?" "on't they have guards for that?", I asked, turnign my head a bit to look at him again. "Sleeping only a few hours is one thing, but not sleeping at all seems a bit unhealthy, don't you think?"

He just shrugged, ignoring my question, maybe he didn't deem a response necessary. "Just go back to bed.", he then said, upon going back to working on whatever he was writing there.

Hanji arrived a few days later along her Moblit and a boy with very short hair, they also brought a nurse along. "Hello everyone. How is Ana doing? I hope you made sure she stays still.", she said to Levi, but I replied for him. "Sure did. Was almost creepy." Hanji laughed a bit.

"Can we finally get back to the head quarters?", the captain then asked. "Yes. The government declared the territory between rose and sina safe because there's no space for all tge people to live behind Sina.", Hanji explained "We're here to pick you two up." She then turned to the pastor. "You can go."

"Can she walk?" The nurse shook her head. "The pain wouldn’t let her." They had to put me on a stretcher and carry me down to a cart. On the way to the head quarters, Hanji explained her theory that all titans were transformed humans and that the ones inside the wall were the citizens of a village named Ragako.

----

It was somewhen in the middle of the night, I was staying in Hanji's room again, who indeed had gotten an office for herself and her research. But I was woken up by a dream again and decided to get some water.

The corridors were empty and quiet as I walked through them, but I heard a noise from the kitchen when I got near it. I snuck up to the door of the kitchen, seeing that it was light inside. When looking inside, I saw a brown haired girl, looking through the cupboards.

"Where is it... where is it?" "Hello?" The girl didn't even hear me and kept looking. I called out again, this time louder. She turned, but not because she reacted to what I said, but because she seemed to have found what she looked for.

A loaf of bread and some baked potatoes. She finally noticed me and smiled brightly. "Would you like some too? I can share." She broke the bread in half, holding a part out to me. "No, I-... I'm just here for a glass of water.", I replied.

The girl just shrugged and then ate the bread and potato at a speed I couldn't quite grasp. "I'm Sasha Braus.", she mumbled in between chews. "Ana.", I replied. "No last name?", she asked, curiously. "Complicated last name.", I replied with a small chuckle.

"Uhh, I once knew a guy who's name was Ale-... Ela-... I don't remember, mh... but it was ridicoulously long. " "Srijokowitsc.", I then said. "Anastasia Srijokowitsc." She had this sprakling in her eyes. "Oh I love this name... Anastasia. Never heard it before."

"Most people say it's a mout full.", I admitted and Sasha just brushed it off. "Its nice, like a nice warm potato mhhhh, are you sure you don't want a bite?" "No really, I'm fine, enjoy." I went over to the cupboard to get myself a bottle and filled it up with water.

"Are you a recruit too?", Sasha asked. "I'm new, but I wasn't in the trainign unit.", I replied. "Well then, I'll see ya tomorrow at breakfast." "Have a good night.", I replied and turned to walk out of the kitchen. "You too.", she replied cheerfully.

When entering the cantine the next mornign with Hanji, I was gonna go sit with her again like always when I heard someone call  my name. I turned. "Hey, over here." Then I spotted her, the girl from the kitchen. Sasha, she sat at a table with some other people as she was waving me over. I decided to just give in and walked over to the table. "Do you mind?", I asked Hanji, pointing towards the girl. "Not at all. Go." "I'll see you then, Hanji."

When arriving at the table, Sasha was already introducing me. "Everyone, this is my Anastasia from the kitchen." "From the kitchen?", a guy with very short hair asked, I recognised him as the one from Ragako, Connie. "Are you a cook? Why are you in uniform?" Sasha waved her hand. "No, silly. She's new, like us." At the table were also Eren, Armin, Mikasa and a boy I didn't know yet.

The guy I didn't know looked up from his plate with a suspicious look in his eyes. "But you weren't part of the recruits." "Yes, I took the short route. Dot Pixis recommended me for the survey corps." Sasha nodded along to everything I was saying  and the started introducing everyone at the table, most of them were pretty welcoming. And they were funny people. I really liked this group. And Iheard they were in discussion to become Levi's new team, so I would probably work with them soon anyway.
