"I-is this for real?" nauutal na tanong ni Tito.

Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo nila Ryzk kaya napabuntong hininga si kuya Michael.

"Yes, Kuya. All the things that you read and see was all real." marahan pero seryosong sabi ni Kuya.

Nanghihinang napasandal s'ya kay Tita. Kakauwi lang nila kahapon at kahapon na lang din namin nalaman ang tungkol sa kamag-anak ni Tito. Late na rin kami nakauwi no'n kaya hindi na namin nasabi.

"Did you already talk to the company?" Aunt asked.

"I reached out to them."

"What did they say?" Uncle immediately asked.

"They said that they will take action about it."

Napabuntong hininga ako at tumingin kay Tito.

"We're sorry, Tito." pagpapaumanhin ko.

"N-no..." he shook his head

"I should be the one saying sorry for what my Uncle did." Uncle said, apologetically.

He look at the paper again.

"I... I can't believe they can do this..." napapailing na sabi n'ya.

Naaawang nakatingin lang ako kay Tito.

"All of their wealth... came from their company... not because they work hard for it." tumingin sa amin si Tito.

"But because they... stealed it." nanlulumong sabi n'ya.

Napa-iwas ako ng tingin dahil hindi ko kayang tignan si Tito ngayon. Sadness, disappointment, regret and pain. Halo-halo sa ekspresyon n'ya iyon at hindi ko kayang tignan s'ya ngayon dahil sa puro negatibong emosyon na meron s'ya.

"Us too, Uncle." Ryzk said. Kaya napatingin sila Tito sa kan'ya.

"No offense but when we met them, we thought they're responsible and nice person..." he shook his head in disbelief.

"But it's the opposite. We also can't believe they can do that. And to think his family knew that but they didn't stop him, instead they supported him." disbelief written on his face.

"I talked to the investigator."

Nagtatakang napatingin kaming lahat kay Kuya.

"They said that there is a possibility that they will go to the restaurant tomorrow or sooner."

Nagkatinginan kaming lahat. Lahat kami may baka ng pag-aalala at pangamba sa kung ano na naman ang mangyayari kapag sumugod na naman ang kamag-anak ni Tito.

"We have to be ready, then?" tanong ni Tita.

Tumango si Kuya. "Yes, and be careful too. We don't know what they can do."

"They will do something, that's for sure." sabi ni Ryzk na parang may pinupunto.

"You're right. There plan didn't work before. For sure, this time, they will do anything to get what they want." seryosong sabi ni Tita pero mahihimigan mo ng pag-aalala sa boses.

"I'm so ashamed." nanghihingi sabi ni Tito.

Hinagod ni Tita ang likod n'ya gamit ang isang kamay n'ya at hinawakan n'ya ang kamay nito gamit ang isa n'yang kamay.

"Hey..." malambing na sabi ni Tita. Look at me."

Pero dahil ayaw tumingin ni Tito ay hinawakan ni Tita ang muhka ng asawa at marahan itong hinarap sa kan'ya.

"It's your fault that your relatives are like that."
