Chapter 72 (Wedding Disruption)

Concubine Ching is so happy and then she uses her lovely voice and speaks

"Let prepare for Xian-er and yi-er wedding"

When everyone heard about the wedding, their mood are even more joyful. The shy Wangyi looks so cute when everyone surrounds her and gives her a pat on her little cute head. Zhan Xian heart just melted by the shy look of his beloved, those deep smiles on her face radiating the whole room, just like an ethereal angel descending from heaven.

Zhan Xian told in every movement and moment of Wangyi in from of him. His heart seems to be beating faster and faster when he thinks of their oncoming wedding which is less than two weeks, Usually, an occasion like this, will bring immense joy to his heart, however, he somehow also trouble by the undercurrent that is drawing near to his wedding as well.

Suddenly, he bow and told everyone

"Father, my apology, I did not ask for your permission and told Wangyi's grandparents about our situation with the enemies," Zhan Xian told his father and everyone but when he mentioned enemies, there seems to be still a tint of sadness as it is like 'dog bites dog' to him, when siblings fight.

Th emperor is a man full of wisdom and he slowly asks Zhan Xian

"Why did you do it if you think it is wrong?" the emperor asks

Zhan Xian hesitated for a sec and he thinks

"I don't really feel it was wrong to say it at that time, I felt the warm for them as they were with Wangyi and me," Zhan Xian told the emperor.

Everyone was a little anxious, especially Wangyi as not wanting Zhan Xian to be punished and only Ching-er sips her tea with a smile (ah, she really knows her man).

The emperor strokes his short beard and asks

"What kind of warm do you feel there?" the voice is neither angry nor peaceful like still water in the river facing a calm day.

Zhan Xian gives himself thought and he feels like his father is teaching him like always and thus he puts his hand in his heart and reply

"The warm of a family, I feel they are like family to me," Zhan Xian told them

The emperor then stand up and smiles

"My son is getting older, if you feel that, then it is like you are talking to family members, family members share their burdens and joys together and so....." the emperor paused, making everyone tense and of course only one.

"How could I blame you for sharing with family if you treat Wangyi grandparents like family, huh, silly boy" the emperor looks at his loving son.

Zhan Xian knew his father has always been very understanding and full of wisdom, every opportunity is a chance for him to learn and that has always been his father philosophy which has been imparted to Zhan Xian and the siblings.

Zhan Xian then smiles at his father with appreciation, Wangyi was beside him felt relief and continued her cute smile. The siblings are also relief but they roll their eyes at their father sort of teasing him for being a tease monster making them worry.

"Father, they all wanted to support us and their army are on standby for us" Zhan Xian happily told the emperor

Cute little Wangyi also stand up now to speak for her future spouse
