(No One's POV)
The big day was finally here and everyone was running around trying to get people in their rooms and dressed.
The ceremony would start at 4:30 in the afternoon. The reception was scheduled to start at 5:30 and start wrapping up around 9. The send off for the newlyweds was going to be at 8:15. It was currently 9:30 in the morning.
Blaise, Theo, and Neville were in the room with Draco, helping him and each other get ready. Ginny, Aviana, and Hermione were down the hall, in the last room on the left getting ready as well.
Ginny and Aviana were putting on their makeup and fixing their hair while Narcissa helped Hermione. Down in the room where the wedding would be taking place, chairs were being placed and names were being set on each chair so everyone had a place to sit.
The bride and groom were both nervous as well as overflowing with joy. While they were both keeping their composure very well, inside their nerves were in bundles and made the two of them much more nervous than they looked.
Hermione took deep calming breaths as Draco paced back and forth.
Draco's tie was resting over his shoulder, lying limp on his vest, his jacket draped over the dressing room wall. Blaise, Neville, and Theo were making small talk in the middle of the room with glasses of water in front of them.
Draco was finally able to relax a little bit and lean up against the wall, running his hands through his hair to get it out of his face. He looked towards the group of men in the room and sighed before walking over to grab one of the water glasses, taking a big swig out of it before setting it down once again.
"Draco, why don't you sit down for a minute. You look pale." Blaise told the blonde.
Draco just looked at his fellow Slytherin with a slight glare before shaking his head and walking over to the dressing room while slipping his tie off and undoing the first couple buttons of his shirt.
"I don't understand why we have to get ready so early. We have six hours until the ceremony starts and I need to do something besides sit in the room." Draco said while throwing his tie over the wardrobe to rest by his jacket. "I'm going to step out and get some air. I'll be back in a few minutes."
With that, Draco walked to the door and exited the room before heading down the hall towards the reception area. He stepped out onto the balcony and took in a deep breath before resting his forearms on the railing. The breeze kept his hair out of his face as he looked out over the city.
A part of him wished the day would go by faster, but another part of him wished he could stop the day and relive it over and over and over, not wanting to leave the day that was going to change his life forever.
Back in Hermione's room, Ginny was squealing at Hermione's appearance as Narcissa stepped out of the way. Aviana smiled as she took in the bride.
"Merlin's beard Hermione, you look absolutely beautiful." Ginny stated.
Hermione just laughed at the red headed girl's enthusiasm as she looked in the mirror. SHe had to keep herself from allowing her jaw to hit the floor. She just stared at her reflection, marveling at the girl staring back at her. Narcissa didn't go overboard, but she put just enough on her that she was able to transform her into a goddess with a touch of a brush.
She turned to look at Narcissa with wide eyes and a grateful smile.
"No need to thank me Hermione, makeup is just something I love to do.
Hermione stood up and wrapped the older woman up in a hug while thanking her, despite her protest. When they pulled apart from the hug, Giny grabbed Hermione from behind and squeezed her.
