"I already told you I am not going to drink that. It looks like veritiserum and believe me when I say that it does not smell appetizing at all." I stated for the third time.

"Come on, it doesn't taste as bad as it smells."

I rolled my eyes. "If I get poisoned because I drank this I am going to kill you."

"I'm willing to accept my fate because I know for a fact that it won't happen."

"Just like the Slytherin you are, you are very full of yourself."

He just shrugged. I sighed before taking a sip of the drink he gave me.

It tasted like fire whiskey with a hint of vanilla.

"That is good. But why does it look like this?"

"I have no idea." The wizard across from me shrugged with a smile.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just admiring the prettiest witch in the world."

I blushed and looked away with an embarrased smile.

"Do you not believe me?" He asked.

"I do, it's just when someone compliments me like that it makes it kind of hard to believe. Do you know what I mean?" I asked.

"I can see that." He smiled.

We sat in silence for a while before the sound of someone apparating filled the hall.

We looked at each other in confusion before getting up and walking towards the doorway.

We stopped when a female walked toward us. Her breathing was uneven and she looked terrified. She had platinum blonde hair and peircing blue eyes.

"Blaise!" The girl shrieked. "You need to come with me now. Draco is at the hospital."

"What happened?" Blaise asked, now on high alert. "Is he ok?"

"Yeah, he's fine, it's Hermione." She said.

Without warning I was pulled into sidelong apparation.

When my feet hit the ground I opened my eyes. White walls and floors blinded my vision. Once my eyes adjusted I looked around.

There were people rushing around and exchanging clipboards while others were either visited someone or waiting for something.

Blaise moved away from me and walked towards the front desk.

"What room is Hermione Granger in?" He asked with urgency.

"What is your relation to Ms. Granger?" The mediwitch asked.

"I'm Draco's sister and Hermione is her cousin." A voice from behind us said.

The same girl that told us about Hermione being in the hospital approached the desk.

"What about him?" The witch asked pointing a quill at Blaise.

"My cousin." I said quickly.

The witch turned back to the folder in front of her and flipped through the pages.

"Ms. Granger is in room 713. Third floor." She said.

Blaise muttered a thanks before leading us to the stairs and taking them two at a time.

When we got to the third floor the blonde female took the lead and led us down multiple corridors before stopping at a door on the right at the end of the last hall.

"...I love that you would stand up and forgive me for all that I have done to you. I love you."

The three of us froze. Blaise and I looked at each other with the same expressions.

The girl that was with us knocked on the door lightly after a few seconds of silence. "Draco, Blaise is here." She said.

"They can come in." Draco's voice sounded from inside the room.

The girl moved so me and Blaise could enter. She followed us inside and closed the door behind us.

When I seen Hermione I covered my mouth with my hands. Her left forearm was bandaged with a strip of blood just starting to peek through. There was a needle in her right arm and multiple different cords trailing from different machines and leading to her bed.

"What happened." I whispered.

Hermione looked away from us and at the machines. Draco stood up and walked over. "Can I talk to you outside? Both of you?" He asked.

Blaise nodded and led me out of the room. He closed the door behind him and led us down the hall a little ways before turning to the left and slid open a glass door.

We stepped out onto the balcony and sat at the table that was there. Me and Blaise sat by each other and Draco sat across from us seeing that the table could seat five people, there was a chair between me and Draco and one between Draco and Blaise.

With his elbows propped up on the table Draco put his head in his hands and sighed.

"Draco, mate what happened?" Blaise asked.

Without looking at us he stood up and leaned against the railing of the balcony. He mumbled something under his breath.

"We can't hear you." Blaise said.

"Suicide Blaise." The blonde snapped as he whipped around. "She tried to commit suicide."

I gasped in shock.

"I walked to the bathroom because I heard the sound of glass breaking. The door was locked so I couldn't get it open. By the time I broke through she was passed out."

I couldn't believe it. Hermione Granger, the strongest person I know, tried to end her life.

"Is she going to be ok?" Blaise asked.

"They said she should be able to go home in a few hours." The blonde answered.

It was then when the door slid open and the same blonde from earlier appeared. She was out of breathe and physically shaking. She looked terrified.

Draco turned around and, seeing the state she was in, wrapped his arms around her to keep her from falling. "Aviana what's wrong?" He asked.

"Hermione, her arm started bleeding again, then she started twitching. The healer came in and she passed out. I didn't know what to do." The girl said quickly.

"Blaise take her." Draco said. Moving forward Blaise took the girl and led her to the table and sat her down as Draco ran into the building.

I looked back at the girl and Blaise. She was now seated and Blaise was rubbing her back comfortingly.

I sat down by the girl and offered her my hand. he obliged and took it. I squeezed it comfortingly as she let out a shaky breath.

"If you don't mind me asking, but are you related to Draco?" I asked in a desperate attempt to get her mind off of what she just saw.

"I am his twin sister Aviana." She answered. "I just got here this morning."

I smiled reassuringly. "Well, it's good to meet you Aviana. My name is Ginny."

"It's nice to meet you Ginny." She smiled back.

The moment we shook hands, I hadn't realized that I was beginning a lifelong friendship with this girl. All I know was that I was about to be eternally grateful for the blonde across from me.
