The white-haired man said that he was the collector, Loki telepathically told you in your head that we needed to find a shiny red stone. Taking in everything you see, you mark 3 discreet exits you could use to escape. You also spot a ship that looked functional. Sneaking away from the group as the collector gave you all a tour around his collection of random objects, you set out to find the reality stone.
Roaming around, you spot a map of the universe and some jump boost things. You grab both, knowing one thing or the other would come in handy. At the end of one hall, there was something covered by a black cloth, and underneath you could make out a faint red glow. Uncovering it, you saw the reality stone encased in glass. Opening the glass case you grab the stone, a power surged through your body as the stone latched onto your arm.
It stung as you tried to rip it off so you just let it stay on your hand. Quickly finding some scrap metal you made a shield around your arm and covered it with your jacket. Finding the team you rushed to tell Loki.
I found the stone.
That's great! Where is it?
Stuck to my hand.
What? His expression looked concerned but as the collector kept talking he made sure his face seemed interested in whatever the collector was saying.
"Tivan!" A feminine voice called out from behind. We all turned around to see a green lady with silver stripes on her face. She had a black jacket with a case for a knife, which she pulled out as she got closer.
"Gamora! How lovely to see you dear!" The collector greeted, as though used to a violent greeting as such.
"We need the stone Tivan." She hissed through gritted teeth. Behind her came some more aliens, one that looked Oz human, one that was grey with red stripes, one that looked like a racoon, one that looked like a walking tree and another that looked like a human and an ant.
"He will come for it." The red and grey alien said. "These are probably the one's he sent." He pointed to us.
"Excuse me? Who do you think sent us?" Strange asked.
"Thanos." The racoon said.
"Woah woah Woah! We don't work for Thanos, we have come here to have a look at-" you were interrupted by the racoon again.
"Loki?" He asked squinting behind you as he got closer.
"Hello, guardians!" He greeted awkwardly.
"Wait wait, reindeer games know these people?" Tony asked, confused at the current situation.
As the human man hugged Loki, Loki turned back to explain to us.
"These are the guardians of the galaxy. Before we reached Earth, some dumb child pressed the universal distress signal button. So they had come to help, but since there was no distress we had to apologize to them. That's Peter, Gamora, Drax, Mantis, Racoon and Groot." He explained pointing to each of them.
"I am Groot," the tree came up to you and shook your arm.
"I am y/n l/n." You replied.
Everyone just ignored the collector's presence and greeted each other.
"Hello Peter, I'm Peter!" Peter greeted Peter.
"What is this family reunion! We must have tea and cake if we are going to have a proper family reunion." Tivan tried to draw the attention back to him.
"Thank you Mr Collector but we shall be leaving now." You said as you communicated to everyone through their heads saying you have the stone.
Leaving the collector, you went to someplace with more privacy to discuss.
"Well I have the stone, but," you removed the shield around your arm revealing the stone stuck in your arm, "it's stuck."
"Something is wrong with her." You heard Gamora whisper to Peter.
"Yea there is something wrong with me but how about you tell me something I don't know." You smile.
"When I sent you to go find the stone I didn't tell you to pick it up with your bare hand!" Loki scolded.
"Well you didn't tell me what to do so I did, and now instead of yelling at me, let's find a solution to get it off." You yelled back.
You suddenly heard a boom from outside. Everyone rushed out to see
Thanos.
"Daughter." He said looking at Gamora.
"I am not your daughter." She spoke through gritted teeth.
"Odinson, Stark." He spoke. This made you all get into your suits. You hid your arm under the metal plating of your armour.
"I am Loki Friggason." Loki hissed as he pulled out two daggers.
"Give me the stones, and I shall let you live. I know you have the time, reality and space stones, so you better get it to me." He spoke as he put on his helmet.
"Never," Gamora said as she pulled out a sword and rushed to kill him. You ran towards him with your own blades, Gamora suddenly vanishing. Confused, you stopped, allowing the titan to grab you by the neck.
Pulling you up, you laughed, which left the titan confused. "Why are you laughing, I am choking you." He looked at you confused.
"You see, I have a choke kink." You laughed as you stabbed his chin, earning a howl from him. The others gathered around him, "you're surrounded," you call.
"That's the thing. I'm not." He laughs. Soldiers from every corner grab everyone from every side. You notice they were wearing armour made of metal of some sort.
"And here's the thing. I control metal." You say as you crush the bodies of every soldier around you. "Don't you dare think you are above Genocide does not solve anything." You speak as you get to your feet.
"You don't understand." He says, now trembling since his army had collapsed.
"If you kill the people to sustain a planet's resources, they wouldn't know why you are doing that. So instead of killing, educate them. Make them understand why they should not overpopulate their planet." You say helping the team to their feet.
"They are already on the brink of collapse."
"Young, innocent children could lose their parents, have no one to care for them. Would that be salvation? A child having to fend for themselves?" You question him.
He stood staring at you, bleeding from the chin. Unsure of his next response.
