Rings 42 - Keep your relationship secret
Jenny was happy. Her weeks were filled with love and happiness. She couldn't ask for more. She was content.
Every weekend, they'd do something fun like go out of town, just the three of them. They felt like family and she loved it. She loved every moment she had with them.
Each day that passed by, her love for Angelo grew and she was so happy that her love was reciprocated. She felt it, his love for her.
She knew what it was about. She wasn't that naïve that she didn't know why he'd bring her to Paris. And she was happy and excited and she couldn't wait to say yes.
So she really had to talk with her sister. So she'd have their blessings, but blessings or not, she'd be with Angelo.
"What do you think about sushi for lunch?" Angelo asked.
She looked up from her tablet and nodded, "Sushi sounds nice. I'll place an order." she said and started opening the food app to choose her order.
"And steaks for dinner. With my parents."
She froze, dinner with his parents? Slowly, she looked up and she can see him smile at him, "Dinner?" she squeaked.
"Yes, with my parents."
She gulped. She met his parents while she was preparing for his wedding and she did not like his father at all.
"I'm leaving Peter with them next month for Paris and they want to know why. I want to introduce you, Jen."
She wanted that too. She nodded. "Okay but you should have given me heads up so I could have at least dressed up."
"You look beautiful, Jen." he leaned closer and kissed her. "I love you."
"I love you too." she blushed. She placed the tablet down on her lap and wrapped her arms around his neck as his kiss went deeper.
His tongue seeked entrance and her lips parted for him, she felt his hands on her lap and then he lifted her up and placed her on his lap.
His hands wrapped around her waist pulling her closer to him, he groaned as he kissed her.
Then the phone rang. They both ignored the sound and continued on kissing with both their hands roaming. "I love you so much, I cannot wait for Paris." he said in between kisses.
Nothing ever happened between them. They'd do heavy makeout sessions but Angelo would always stop and tell her she deserve her first night to be special and it should be on her wedding night.
The phone rang again and this time she pulled away because she could feel it vibrating as well and the ringing didn't stop so she thought it may be urgent.
She grabbed her phone and her brows furrowed when she saw Kuya Ian's name. So she answered it, "Kuya?"
"You have to go home, Jen."
"What?" she asked confused. She stood up, "What's going on?"
"It's your father, he had a heart attack. We're here at the hospital now. You have to go home. Call your sister as well."
