Jenny smiled as she shut down her laptop, it was finally Friday, how she was so excited for the weekend to come. It was their weekend getaway with Peter. She looked at the closed door of Angelo's office, he was currently on a conference call and he asked her that he wasn't to be
disturb for now.

It sounded like it was a really important call so she forced herself not to knock and bring him some afternoon snacks. Boundaries, she thought. They were at work and she needed to follow the instructions by her boss so she stayed on her desk and finished up some reports and also
cleared up Angelo's calendar.

She glanced at the clock, it was already 5PM and they needed to go to the supermarket and buy some snacks for their trip. She stood from her chair, tried to peek at the glass window of the office but the blinds were blocking her view. So she grabbed her phone instead and texted him.

Sorry to bother you, but are you almost done? If not, kaya ko pumunta naman mag-isa sa mall and buy our snacks.

While waiting for his reply, she grabbed her jacket and bag on the rack and prepared to leave. She folded her jacket and set her bag on her desk,  she was checking her phone when the door opened and Angelo appeared. 

"Give me a minute and we'll go."

Tumango siya at binigyan siya ng maliit na ngiti ni Angelo.  Pagkatapos ay pumasok uli ito sa loob at sinara ang pinto, nag desisyon si Jenny na kunin na rin ung coat ni Angelo para mamaya ay mabilis na sila makaalis. 

Bigla siyang nagulat sa narinig na sigaw sa loob ng opisina ni Angelo,  "Screw you,  I'm done playing puppet!  Take it all away then!"

Hindi niya alam anong mayroon pero biglabigla siyang nangamba at naging kuryoso kung sino ang kausap ni Angelo upang sumigaw siya ng ganun? Gusto niya man tanungin ito pero di pa niya kaya,  ayaw niya munang i-question si Angelo lalo na sa trabaho.  Naisip niya kasi di npa naman sila ganun katagal at gusto niya na si Angelo mismo ang mag open up sa kanya.  Ayaw niya itong pangunahan. 

Kaya nung lumabas na si Angelo sa kayang opisina na nakanngiti ayay di na niya tinanong pa kung anong nangyari.  She'd wait. 

"Let's go."

She smiled at him. 

Tahimik sila sa elevator, pinagsikop ni Angelo ang kanilang mga kamay. "Are you excited for tomorrow?"

Ngumiti siya,  "Yes.  Nasabi mo na ba kay Peter? "

Tumango si Angelo,  "I told him that we'll be leaving for the weekend."

Humarap siya kay Angelo, "You haven't told him about us,  have you?"

Umiling si Angelo,  "I can't seem to find the timing of it yet. Does it bother  you?"

Who was she to be bothered?  She hasn't even told her sister about them so she cannot really tell him that she was bothered that he hasn't told Peter. How would the weekend be for them? She didn't like to lie to Peter but she couldn't demand Angelo to tell Peter. If she wasn't ready to tell her sister then she needed to also be patient with Angelo. 

So she shook her head and smiled at him. The elevator door opened, Jenny jumped a bit slightly and moved away from Angelo and Angelo stood straight and greeted the person, "Chuck." 

Napatingin siya kay Chuck na naka kunot ang noo na pinagmamasadan sila bago ito pumasok sa loob ng elevator, pumagitna ito sa kanila ni Angelo at hinarap siya, "Do you want to grab dinner?"

Gusto niya sana dahil kailangan din nila mag-usap ng binata dahil laging di natutuloy ang pag-uusap nilang dalawa at ngayon nalang uli sila nagkitang dalawa kaya lang may lakad sila ni Angelo. Pero paano niya mahihindihan si Chuck?
