Rings 39 - To a dream come true
Jenny couldn't believe what happened. She didn't even know how she got home tonight. She was all too dazed to even think. Now, here she was sitting on her couch, her mind still on the scene in Sir Angelo's office. No, Angelo's office. Now, she should always familiarize herself to call him as Angelo. He was her boyfriend after all.
Suddenly, her lips formed a smile. Boyfriend. Sir Angelo was her boyfriend and he wanted her. And that was a wonderful feeling, she felt so alive with the thought that finally her love was reciprocated. She never dreamed of this and it felt surreal. Finally. This day was one of the happiest day of her life. She could finally breathe.
She wanted to tell the world, she wanted to shout it so that everyone will know that she was the girlfriend of Sir Angelo. She frowned as she remembered that not everyone would be happy for her, she thought of her sister. Both Ate Cassandra and Kuya James would not approve. They might even trample on her happiness. This thought made her sad, her happiness would mean the disapproval of both.
Maybe she could hide it. Just until she could convince both that Sir Angelo was a good match. She nodded to herself, yes, this was the right thing to do. She didn't need to tell the world about it, They could live in a bubble, just for now. So that they could have a bit of happiness. Give it a few months. She thought to herself.
Finally feeling hungry, she got up from the couch and decided to cook dinner.
Nasa kusina na siya nang biglang narinig niya ang doorbell. Napatingin siya sasa orasan at nagtaka kung sino ang bibisita sa kanya ngayon. Medyo gabi na rin kaya di niya rin alam sino ang bisita niya. Pero naalala niya si Chuck, oo nga baka iyon ang bisita niya dahil simula ng umais siya ay di na rin sila nagkita ni Chuck kaya kanina ay nag send siya ng text sa binata na kung hindi ito busy ay pumunta sa bahay para makapag usap sila.

Kaya nagpunta na siya sa pinto at binuksan na ito, "You have some explaining to do!"
"I do?"
Napa-agat ang tingin niya at nagulat nang si Sir Angelo ang nasa labas. "Sir?"
"You really need to check who's at the door, Jenn." paalala ni Sir Angelo sa kanya, naka kunot ang noo nito kaya napa ngiti naman si Jenny sa hiya dahil parang lagi nalang itong nangyayari sa kanila ni Sir Angelo. "I wanted to have dinner with you."
"What about Peter?" she asked, because she knew that Sir Angelo always tried to have dinner with Peter, it was their quality time together.
"He's having a sleepover at his grandparents right now." sagot nito sa kanya, "Can I come in?"
Nag-dalawang isip si Jenny, di niya alam kung tama bang papasukin si Sir Angelo ngayon medyo gabi na pero boyfriend na niya si Sir Angelo kaya bakit naman bawal hindi ba?
"You owe me pasta, Jenn." dagdag ni Sir Angelo. Napangiti naman siya at gumilid para mapadaan ito, pero bago tuluya pumasok si Sir Angelo hinalikan nito muna si Jenny sa pisngi.
Nag-init ang mukha ni Jenny at hinayaan na makapasok si Sir Angelo ng tuluyan, matagal bago nasara ni Jenny ang pinto. Kaya napatalon siya sa gulat nang narinig nag pag-tawagpag-tawag nito sa kanya.
Nagmadali naman siyang naglakad papunta sa loob at naabutan si Sir Angelo na naka-upo na sa bar stool may island.
"What kind of pasta do you like?" tanong ni Jenny kay Sir Angelo.
