Claire

We were on our way back to the castle. We came to a stop in the Whispering Woods.

"How could I let this happen?" I rubbed Adora's back. I didn't want to say anything because I never really knew Entrapta. Everyone kinda grew close to her and I was just being mind controlled at the Horde.

"Adora, it's not your fault." Bow protested.

"It is my fault. Entrapta's gone because of my plan."

"Adora don't beat yourself up. It really wasn't your fault." I never believed it was anybody's fault. They explained what happened when they were running out. The plan was going pretty good until Emily's plug got stuck. Nobody could have prevented it.

"This is only happened because we were all together."

"Mermista's right, being together makes us vulnerable." Perfuma agreed.

"Maybe there's a reason the Princess Alliance fell apart before. Maybe this whole thing was a bad idea." I knew they were all upset but they couldn't leave the princess alliance.

"Mermista, no, you can't say that."

"Ok. I get you're all upset. And I understand where you are coming from. But you should not blame anybody for Entrapta dying. It was just something that happened. You mourn and then move on. You may never move on but don't leave the princess alliance because your upset."

"Easy for you to say, Claire. For all we know this could be your fault. You could have told the Horde all our plans."

"How am I supposed to know your plans or anything that you all did while I was there!" There we're a couple of gasps. Me and Mermista were inches apart.

She then stepped back. "Whatever. I don't want to be a part of it anymore. Sea Hawk, take me home. Claire, don't think you won this argument."

We took Mermista,Perfuma, and Frosta back home.

We were walking back to the castle when Angella comes running out.

"Claire, Glimmer!" She runs over and hugs us. "Are you both hurt?" She then hugs us again.

"Mom, you're crushing me."

Bow then comes and joins the hug.

"Mom! I'm fine, cut it out!" Angella and Glimmer were still hugging when we went inside.

"I will not cut it out. I've been beside myself with worry. You usually teleport out of my embraces. What's going on?"

"Nothing. I just need to recharge. That's all."

"Of course. Guards, carry my daughter to the moonstone chamber at once."

"I don't need to be carried, I can walk. You're embarrassing me."

"Fine. Then you have time to tell me what happened. I received word of Entrapta's loss. Well, Glummer? Bow? Adora? Claire? Someone tell me what happened."

"Commander, it's my fault—"

"The thing is—"

"Well you see—"

"Leave my friends alone. Give us a minute."

"A minute? You were being held by the Horde. Claire somehow stayed there on her free will. We will have a chat about that later. I have been going mad telling myself awful stories about what could've happened to you."

"Jeez, Mom, relax. I'm fine. We'll talk later."

"This conversation isn't over."

Bow bowed and Adora mumbled an 'I'm sorry' before walking away.

"You wanted to talk to me."

"Yes. Do you want to go into the war room."

I nodded my head. I really did not want to have this conversation.

...

"I know you don't want to talk about what happened. But Claire, I'm worried about you."

I knew she was ever since I got my memories back.

"I don't think you should leave the castle for a while."

"What?!?" How could she say that. I need to. I need to get the princess alliance back together. I need to defeat the Horde once and for all.

"Claire, we both now you are in pain. There was definitely something that happened at the Horde that you haven't told anybody about..." She took a breath. "Whenever we do fight your dad I think you should take the bench. I don't think you're strong enough to face him."

I was mad. How dare she think I am not strong enough. "I'm fine! I am strong enough to face him and I will NOT rest until I defeat him!" I walked out and slammed the door.

I will not rest until my da— Hordak is dead.
