A/n: Hey... so I am not gonna lie, I kinda forgot I updated on June 3 and it's now June 12. Please forgive me I will try to update more this week.

Claire

"Hey, Claire, it's ok. If we keep going  south, we'll cross the center." Adora kicked down a rock. "And, uh, I'm something of an expert tracker, thanks to the Horde's survival skills training. We just have to keep going... that way."

"Wait, you actually went to that class. Catra and I always ditched it."

"Yes I went to that class. Shadow Weaver always got mad at you."

"Ya, but she never did anything about it."

Theme song

We were running from a 3 headed snake because Adora thought it was a sand dune. We finally got away from it after what feels like forever.

"Okay, to review, the plants are evil, tech doesn't work, and sometimes, a sand dune is a pile of very angry, sand colored snakes. So, I think we're getting the hang of this." Adora said somewhat cheerfully.

Glimmer groaned, "Why can't Claire and I just teleport us to the center of the Waste?"

"Because you and Claire don't know where it is and would run out of power before we made it. And Claire has vary limited control on her teleporting."

"Oh, thank you for reminding me that my powers are limited. You think I don't know——?" Suddenly Glimmer fell on to the sand.

"Glimmer!" Adora yelled, diving after her.

Glimmer teleported herself out of the sand. "I'm fine... Where's Adora."

Glimmer went back in and got Adora. "And quicksand. That is now on our list of things to avoid. Wow, I'm learning so much today."

"Adora, you know we support you all the way, but maybe we're not prepared for this." Bow said.

"We just need a little rest. I'll figure out how to build a shelter——" Adora was cut off my Glimmer.

"Or we could go there?"

There was a dragon skeleton thing surrounded by dust.

"Okay. Problem solved. We'll get out of the heat, and maybe there's a map or water inside."

"Adora, I doubt there's anything useful here. The Crimson Waste's been abandoned for hundreds of——"

Adora pulled back the curtain as Bow was telling us about the Crimson Waste. We all gasped. There were all these people sitting and having a drink. We got glared from all of them

"Just act tough. Try to blend in." Adora told us.

"Good afternoon, fellow patrons. Except, I don't care if you do have a good afternoon, because I'm bad." I mentally face Palmer myself. Maybe we should've left Bow outside.

"Hi. Is this the center of the Crimson——?" Adora asked but the person just turned around. "Excuse me? Hello? We——" The girl walked away. "Okay, that didn't work."

Glimmer let out an awkward laugh, "Adora, I'm not so sure these are the kind of people we should be asking for help."

Adora then stepped on the table. "What are you doing?" I whispered.

"Just trust me." She replied. "Hello. Sorry to interrupt, uh, but we're not from around here, and we're hoping someone would give us directions?"

Somebody walked up to us. She had purple skin and looked like a goat. She was wearing a white t-shirt and had on blue pants. The person standing next to her looked like a snake and was wearing a brown jacket with a purple shirt and white pants."Your outsiders." The goat one said.

"Uh, yeah, I guess we are." Adora replied. The goat lady pulled Adora down from the table. "We don't like outsiders here. And since the Crimson Waste didn't take care of you... we will." We heard a noice sounding like glass breaking. We all turned our heads and saw a women walking towards us. She had long white hair in a ponytail. She was really tall, taller than She-Ra I think. It looked like she worked out a lot. She had some sort of scar on the left side of her face. She was wearing a purple jacket, skirt, and gloves and had a red crop top thing on. "We didn't mean to disturb you." She kicked them out of the place.

"There's only two rules in the Crimson Waste. One, the strong make the rules. And two, don't annoy me when I eat. I made rule one. They broke rule two. Are you all staring at something?" Everyone's head seemed to turn back to what they were doing. "Kids, what are you doing, asking these lowlifes for help? Don't you know you can't trust anyone in the Crimson Waste?"

Glimmer laughed awkwardly again, "up until two minutes ago, we didn't know there was anyone in the Crimson Waste."

"Scoundrels, criminals, outlaws, all of them. Be careful, kids. Next time, I might not be around to save you."

"Oh, wow. We need her." Adora said.

"What?" Glimmer and I shouted.

Adora ran up to the woman, "Excuse me? Hi, can we join you? Great." We all sat down across from her. "I'm Adora. This is Bow, Glimmer, and Claire. And we came to——"

Adora was cut of by the woman slamming her arm down on the table. "Blondie, Boy, Glitter, Moon, got it. Huntara. Now what do you want?"

"It's Glimmer. Actually, Princess Glimmer."

"Glimmer shut up." I whispered to her.

"Oh, a Princess. Me, too. I'm the Princess of Crimson Waste. Can you tell? Or am I not sparkly enough for you?"

"We're looking for something in the center of the Crimson Waste. It's important we find it. You seem like you know this place well. Can you take us?"

"Did you not hear what I just said about trusting people?"

"We did. We are so sorry to bother you. Come on let's go." I said, already turning to leave.

"Well, yeah, but you said that while saving us. So you can my be all bad. What do you say?"

"I'm so sorry. Will you give us a minute." I turned and grabbed onto Adora's arm spinning her around. "You sure about this? All the scary people are scared of Huntara, and I don't really trust her."

"We can just ask for a map or—"

Adora cut Glimmer off, "A map won't get us past the scary plants or quicksand or whatever else is out there. We need a guide."

"If I say no, you'll go out there by yourselves and get killed, is that it?" Huntara asked.

"I mean, not ideally, but yeah." Glimmer replied.

She picked up this weapon and spun it around. "Looks like you've got yourselves a guide."

"Great. See, guys, problem solved."
