Claire
We were flying on Swift Wind through the storm back to the castle.
"It's coming from the Fright Zone. Whatever's happening, the Horde is causing it." She-Ra shouted.
"The Whispering Woods are freezing over. What do we do?"
Glimmer glitches and then fell into Bow's arms. "We have to get home. We have to make sure everyone at Bright Moon is okay."
I had an idea on how I could help the whispering woods, but I pushed the thought to the back of my mind. It would never work.
Theme song
We were all holding onto Swift Wind for dear life.
"Look." I hear Bow scream. We all turn our heads and see a shooting light.
"That's Bright Moon." Glimmer and I say at the same time.
"It's the distress beacon."
"Hang on." Swift Wind turns his direction so we are going towards Bright Moon.
We arrive and get off.
"Mom. What's going on?"
"The elements are out of harmony." Angella replies. "The Moonstone is using all its power to counteract the cloud of darkness. But it's not enough. It's taken nearly all of my strength just to keep my connection with it."
She-Ra turns back into Adora. "That cloud is coming from the Fright Zone."
"So what's our plan? We do have a plan right?" Nobody responds. "Guys?"
"The woods are frozen over. There's nothing left to shield Bright Moon from the Horde. We have to prepare for an attack."
...
We were in the war room.
"Our scouts reported sighting the entire Horde army in the woods, moving towards us at top speed."
"We must protect Bright Moon at all costs. If the Moonstone is destroyed, there will be nothing left to stop the darkness."
"Someone must have seen the beacon. Why hasn't anyone come?"
"The Alliance is broken." Adora chimed in. "And other princesses have their own kingdoms to protect. No one's coming, Bow."
"Someone's come!" One of the Guards burst in.
"Is it the Princesses?" Spinnerella and Netossa walk in. "Oh. Spinnerella and Netossa. Thanks for coming, guys."
"You still don't know what we do, do you?"
"Uh... no."
"Seriously? It's in the name. Net-tossa. Nets. I toss nets, okay?"
"Yes, darling, you have beautiful nets." Her wife comforts her.
"At least you have powers, which is more than I've got. But it doesn't matter. I don't need magic to fight."
"Glimmer, not only are you without your powers; but you're still glitching. It's dangerous."
"But mom..."
"Your mom is right." I say. "You can get seriously injured. I have an idea but it is a long shot. And I mean long."
"What do you mean."
"I think I can unfreeze the Whispering Woods. I just need time."
"No. No. No." Adora says. "I don't want you risking yourselves. She-Ra can do this alone. This is what she's for."
"Adora, She-Ra can't unfreeze the whole forests."
"Neither can you."
"I have an id—" Before I could finish Bow cut me off.
"Adora, not even She-Ra can take out an army of Horde soldiers on her own."
"If she can't unfreeze the Whispering Woods or take out an army of Horde soldiers, then what good is she?" Adora than stormed out of the room.
...
"Adora are you okay." I ask.
"Catra will be leading the Horde when they attack, I have to face her. I can't let her hurt anyone else."
"Adora I know this is going to be hard for both of us."
"You don't get it Claire. If only I could get through to her, but all I did was push her farther to the side of evil."
"I did the exact same thing."
"What?!?" She turned around to face me.
"I asked her to come join the rebellion while she thought I still didn't have my memory. She got mad at me. Really mad. That's why she let me go back with you."
"I didn't know."
"It's ok." We both stood in silence for a little bit. Both of us not knowing what to say. "Adora we all got your back." I said while hugging her.
"Are you guys done with your little moment or can we go get ready." Glimmer said.
...
"Welcome to the Bright Moon armory! Well, not really, but I've been stashing weapons in here for months.
Bow gasped, "Dibs on arrows."
We all started looking around.
"Glimmer, Claire." We all turned and saw Angella.
"Mom! How did you know we'd be in here?"
"Did you really think I wouldn't notice you hoarding weapons?"
"I'm sorry mom. I can't just stand by while my friends and my home are I danger. I have to do this."
"I know."
"Mom, I... Wait, what?"
"I've been trying all these years to mold you into someone more like me. But you're too stubborn and hotheaded, and brave, like your father." Angella has a staff appear. "This was your father's staff. I think it's time you had it."
There was a rumbling noise that shook the castle.
"They're here. For the honor of Grayskull!"
"Claire come with me." Angella said, already moving out the door. I nodded my head and followed her.
We moved quickly through the castle. We finally made it to where I was at the Whispering Woods.
"Claire, I trust you. I know you can freeze the Woods. I have to go to we're Glimmer is and help her, but know I have full confidence in you." I ran and hugged her.
"Thank you." I mumble.
She nodded her head and left.
Now the only problem was is that I would have to figure out how to unfreeze the woods.
