A/n hey so I might have, kinda forgot to post this weekend. I have exams this week. I also already got yelled at by Maren so I don't need to be yelled at by you guys to. Anyways thank you for 6k reads.
Claire
We were walking down the hallway for what seemed like ages. We suddenly stop.
"Another dead end." Catra complained.
"No, it's not." Adora walked up and put her hand on the wall. "Eternia." The wall opened up. Catra gave her a weird look.
"Long story." Adora and I said in union. We kept walking down the pitch black hallway. Adora pulled out her sword creating light.
"Cool, you found the Infinite Darkness Room. Have fun, I'm gonna Gina another way around." Catra turned to leave but stopped. "Um... where did the door go."
"Wait, I think I see something. Hello? Light Hope?" Adora called out. There was this red light we walked towards. Probably not the best decision but it was our only decision.
Adora knelt down in front of it. "What's—?" Catra began before the red light thing started scanning us. Catra just had to open her mouth.
It stopped and we were in the Fright Zone. I looked around before pinning Catra to a wall. "What game are you playing?" I yelled at her.
"Getting a little close there Claire." I felt my face go red but I kept my grip firm. "Claire, let go of me I have no idea what's going on. There's no way we can be in the Fright Zone."
"So what is this? Another Shadow Weaver mind trick?"
"Claire, let Catra go." I released my grip.
"So you let your girlfriend tell you what to do."
"She is not my girlfriend." Adora and I said.
"Whatever you say." She said before going behind a wall.
"Somethings off."
"Definitely." Adora agreed.
"It doesn't feel like we are actually in the fright zone."
We here Catra screaming our name. We both turn around and see Catra but when she was a kid. She ran right through us.
"Hey, Claire, there's a—" I shushed her.
"Does it look broken to you?" Little Catra said.
"It's not broke . You're fine." Little Adora and I tried to convince her. It was like I was looking at a completely different person. It had been so long since I had long brown hair, green eyes, and all my freckles.
Catra then screeched, "I'm bleeding!"
"You're not bleeding! Why would you try and pick a fight with Octavia anyway?" Little me said.
"I didn't do anything. All I did was exist near her. And scratch her on the eyeball. And call her a dumb-face."
"Catra."
"What? She has a dumb face."
"She kinda does." Little Adora sided with Catra.
"Where is she. Little me held my hand out. Catra grabbed it and walked me over to where Octavia was.
"Hey, Octavia! You're a dumb face!" Little me yelled at her. She roared and started chasing us.
We ran out laughing and holding hands. When we both noticed Catra pulled my hand away. "What was that." Catra fell back on the wall.
"It must have been some kind of stimulation. It's tapping into our memories. Why, I have no idea."
"Catra groans, "this place is so weird."
"Tell me about it." I mumble.
"How can you deal with all of this magic stuff?"
"I'm only dealing with it because I need to figure out how to heal Glimmer after someone got her cursed."
"What do you want? An apology? You're not getting one." Catra shoved Adora.
"Can I ask you something?" Adora walks up to Catra.
"Can I stop you?"
They both stopped. I peered over Catra's shoulder to see a balance berm kinda thing.
"Why did you help me escape after Shadow Weaver captured us?"
I knew the answer. I hadn't told Adora what happened with that. The good thing is that she was never going to find out. I knew Catra wouldn't tell her even if the world was ending.
"Not this again."
But Adora kept on pressing. "It's the one thing I can't figure it out. You didn't have to do that. You could've gotten caught. Why risk it?"
As I was getting off the slipped and was about to fall when Catra caught me. "Did you really think I'd just let Shadow Weaver erase your memory?" She was talking to Adora but stared right at me.
"I mean you did it to me." I stared right back at her. She pulled closer. We were practically touching.
"Yeah, We'll... You just trusted me to much."
She turned and kept walking. The one thing I hated about Catra was she knew how to get under my skin.
"It wasn't all bad growing up in the Fright Zone, was it? I mean, you still have some good memories, right?"
"Of course I do." Adora replied
"No." Adora looked like she was about to throw me off a cliff. "All I remember was being lectured about how terrible I was. How I would never be good enough to rule. Any good memories that were in there got erased from all the head damage. Besides the Horde is evil and I would never go back even if you asked me." Catra looked at me. Regret filled her eyes. Whatever friendship me and Catra had left is gone.
"Well I miss you." Adora nudged Catra.
"Wha—? I don't miss you. And I definitely don't miss Claire. Get over yourself."
"Not until you admit you like me." They were acting like little kids
"I don't like you." Adora leaned back and fell through the wall. We were suddenly back in the Fright Zone.
"Oh, come on." I yelled.
A teenage Catra ran through trying to attack me. We started fighting. I had just taken Catra's sword and swung her to the ground.
I ran and knelt down beside her. "Are you ok." Catra swung her sword and tripped me.
She was about to get me out when a teenage Adora came running and started attacking Catra. Catra had gotten Adora out, surprisingly. I then came running catching her off guard and got her out.
"And there's out winner." One of our instructors said. I held my hand out to pull her up, which she accepted. "Good work, cadet. I like your focus. This win will definitely be report back to Lord Hordak." I had a smile on my face. I remembered the feeling of when stuff about me was being reported back to Hordak.
"What was that? Way to gang up on me." Catra went over to Adora
"You were fighting dirty. I was just leveling the field."
I walked over to Catra. "Hey, you were awesome. Did I hurt you?"
"No, I'm fine. You're just lucky I let you win."
"Right." Teenage me had a smirk on my face.
"I'm serious. If I came in first, people might except me to actually start doing stuff. Trust me, second place suits me just fine."
"Yeah ok. Come on, let's cool down."
"In a minute I will meet you there."
Teenage went to go catch up with Adora.
Adora and I heard Catra scream. We both started running towards the voice. A spider had her all tied up and was pulling her away.
Adora grabbed her hand and started pulling on her. She lost grip after a few seconds and the spider pulled her away. Adora started banging on the window.
I was frozen still. Not because I was scared about what was going to happen to Catra. But because I didn't want to save her.
