"Holy shit, Kip!" Zocchi cried out as Chris took his sweaty shirt off during the workout. He walked up closer and gave a low whistle. "She really laid into you, mate."

Chris looked down at his chest at the marks Wyatt had made on his skin. In the days following their epic showdown, Chris had forgotten about the marks on occasion until someone inevitably reminded him. Of course, this always prompted a grin from him.

He'd been preparing for the shirtless scene following the arena battle scene when Taika had started laughing boisterously and slapped him on the shoulder. "Quite a collection of love marks you've got on you! At least you brought the Thor suit back in one piece even if you're a mess! Luckily Thor has just been in a big fight at this part of the movie. But I'm afraid we're going to have to cover up these marks of yours anyway."

Mark Ruffalo, who had joined them on set that day, simply smiled knowingly and shook his head. When no one else was listening, he leaned in and nudged him with his elbow. "So, I take it you and Wyatt are still getting along well?"

Chris had shrugged and given a cheeky grin. "More or less," he'd said.

"I think I'd say 'more'," Mark chuckled.

Zocchi shook his head as he walked around Chris, taking in the various suck marks and back scratches. "Fuck me, she really must be an animal in bed. Who is she?"

Aaron and Bobby were nearby and had joined them to make a little fun of the situation.

"Yeah, Hemsy, what's her name?" Bobby asked.

"Is it that Tara girl?" Aaron asked.

Chris shook his head. "No, it's not Tara," he clarified.

"Well, who is she?" They chorused.

Chris shook his head. "All I'm going to say is you should see what type of shape they're in."

The guys laughed boisterously at him.

"Needed a wheelchair, did she?" Zocchi asked.

Chris simply shook his head and accepted the friendly ribbing while he thought about how he'd fucked Wyatt senseless before ending the night with a gentler and more caring session. He'd woken up to the smell of bacon frying. Following his nose, he'd found Wyatt in the kitchen preparing a large and decadent breakfast.

"Maybe I should fuck you like that more often," Chris had growled into his ear as he embraced him from behind.

"And break my pelvis!" Wyatt had playfully lamented.

Chris focused on his workout with his friends after the teasing had died down. He let the peace of mind that exercise always provided wash over him. Physical fitness had always been one of the major pillars of his existence. Though so much of his career was tied to his physicality, it went far deeper then that for him. Being physically fit ensured that he could keep being the anchor he sought to be for the people in his life.

Of course, his physical appearance often led to him being seen as nothing more than a pretty face. On some levels this was bothersome because he knew that it didn't matter how hard he tried- people just weren't likely to take him seriously. But he knew who he was; he knew how hard he'd worked to get where he was. Though he knew he owed a lot of his success to his face and body, he knew his talent was a driving force and that there was far more going on under the surface that so many people admired. If he were nothing more than a body, he'd never have made it in acting.

At the end of the day, he had decided that if his muscles and good looks afforded him the chance to take care of the people he loved, he didn't care if he was taken seriously or not. There were things in his life that were more real, more important, than credibility as an actor. There was more to life than this crazy Hollywood existence. He knew that this life he was living, the adoration, the attention- it was all temporary. People were fickle; they loved you one minute and the next you were yesterday's news. All that really mattered was the real life- the life that consisted of his family, friends, and Wyatt. And he intended to use every moment of his momentum and success to ensure he could be in a position to always care for them. So he'd lean into his image. He'd use it to his advantage.
