Chapter 29: Secret

Author’s note: Ah, yeah. Some of my co-writers said that my character’s being immature for a particular reason, and it's giving me a heads-up to change her mindset. Sorry.

I don't know what's going on but I just realized one thing... I now love him. I wanna live with him forever.

“Ice...”

“Hi, sasagutin mo na ba ako?” tanong niya saka tumawa ng mahina.

“Ano yong 831?” I asked, instead.

Napatingin siya sakin, “Eh? Di mo pa nakalimutan yon?”

I leaned at the sofa, feeling bored because of his answer. Bakit ba ang dami niyang tanong? Tss.

“Ano nga?”

“Nakakahiya, pwede mo naman i search yon sa google eh..” medyo napayuko siya.

“Sabihin mo na, wala akong load para magsearch, and I'm not into searching,” Senyora kong anas.

“Ang meaning non? Iniisip mo ba yon?”

“Shit, why are you changing the topic?!” I shouted, para mapatingin si Ate samin.

I shook my head, “J-just answer it okay?”

He blowed a deep deep breath, he was about to answer when my sister interrupted.

“Ayon sa Google, 831 means I love you Jas.. Sino nagsabi nun?”

I don't know but I didn't answer ate’s question. Damn it, yon lang pala yon? Bat kailangan mag number number pa?! Tangina.

“F*ck you! Yon lang pala yon?!” Sigaw ko sakaniya.

Napakamot naman siya sa ulo, “Hhehe.”

Now I need to answer his question, fuck.

7 months later...

“Damn, babe. You're so good in debating!” My number one fan cheered while I'm here smiling like a good dog who won the racing contest.

“Imagine? You've been practicing for just... I think two weeks? Gosh, I think I'm so lucky to have you..” he said as he hugged me.

“Thanks Ice. I know, I know.”

It's all about, teenage pregnancy.

I smiled as I remembered my motto as a college student.

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying ‘I will try again tomorrow’.”

Going to college and prepping for the “real world” is not easy. Dealing with grades, studying, bills, pressure from your siblings, and having to answer the big question: “What should I do with my life?“, means there are a lot of expectations on your plate. Whether you are a new college student, a graduate, prepping for your finals, or in the middle of a semester still trying to get through your classes, being a student can be stressful.
