It seems as though I wait hours for Luke to finish getting ready. He's like a girl, spending forever on his hair and the rest of his appearance. He was extremely talented in many things obviously, but making himself look perfect was his expertise.

Just as I am about to doze off on my bed, I hear Luke come out of the bathroom. I blink a few times, making sure what I was seeing was reality and not some dream. At the end of my bed, he hovered with a smirk. His outfit consists of a red and black button up with his usual black skinny jeans and a leather jacket. His hair was quiffed impeccably and his bright blue eyes just added to the pain in my chest. He was absolutely flawless, and he was all mine.

"Are you trying to kill me?" I ask, which only causes his smirk to grow.

"Now why would I want to do that?" He asks back.

"Well you're obviously trying to do something to me," I say as I crawl across my bed to meet him. When I reach the end, I sit up on my knees to be level with his face.

"And did it work?" He asks, inching his way closer to me.

"You tell me," I whisper before closing the gap between us. His warm tongue glides across my bottom lip and I immediately allow access. The fire that is burning deep inside my stomach is quickly filling every empty space throughout my body.

"Ah ah," he pulls away and whispers against my lips. "Don't wanna mess up your hair and makeup." He slips away from me and I give him a death glare.

"I hate you," I say as I try not to smile.

"Yes, but I love you." He takes my hand and leads me out the door and downstairs.

"You both look fantastic," my mother says when we walk into the kitchen.

"Thanks mom," I say and give her a hug.

"Are you ready for tonight dear?" She asks after we pull away.

"I'm a little nervous, but I think I'll be okay," I say as I take Luke's hand in mine and smile up at him. I knew I would be fine as long as I knew that Luke would be out in the crowd watching me, supporting every step I took.

"Good. It's good to see you Luke, glad you could make it for all of these events," she says when she turns her attention to him.

"I'm very happy I could be here as well. I wouldn't miss any of it for the world." His smile to her sends a chill down my spine and butterflies have replaced the raging fire, for now.

"Glad to hear that. Well, we better get going, you think?" She asks when Troy walks into the kitchen along with Bradley and Georgia. They are all three dressed up and look great.

"Where's Louis?" My mother asks the question I had been wondering as well and I'm glad I didn't have to be the one to ask.

"I'm not sure, but I assume that he's not going," Troy answers. This saddens me a little, but I don't let it get to me too much.

We ride in Troy's SUV and Luke holds my hand the whole way there, soothing me more and more. I was probably a little more nervous than I should have been, but the excitement surpassed the anxiety. I couldn't wait to see the rest of the boys after the ceremony was over.

When we get to the building that our school's graduation is being held in, I immediately spot Linley before getting out.

"We're gonna go find a parking spot, you want us to just drop you off here honey?" My mom asks.

"Yeah that's fine," I say back. I turn to Luke and can't help but smile. The sunlight that is shining through the windows reflects off of his eyes, making them sparkle beautifully.

"Good luck baby, I know you'll do great. Can't wait to see you afterwards." He squeezes my hands in his and pulls me in for a quick, soft kiss. Everybody in the car teases and makes gagging noises, which causes us all to laugh. "I love you," he whispers.

"I love you Luke," I say and kiss him on the cheek. I make my way out of the car and run to catch up with Linley.

As we sit with the rest of our class in an empty room, we talk to each other about how nervous we are but also how exciting this is. We anxiously sit and wait until it is time for us to walk into the crowded room next door.
