Song for the chapter: The Night Is Still Young by Nicki Minaj

I look over to Linley, who is a little ways away with Michael. We make eye contact before she sees the problem. She couldn't get over here fast enough and within seconds, my breathing stops as I hear his voice.
"Hi," he cuts in, leaving Louis as dumbfounded as me. I hold back the tears and turn to face him. All of the strength that I have built up ruptures at the sight of him. His dark eyes burn right through me, leaving a gaping hole right in the middle of my heart.
I am literally speechless and silently thank Louis when he butts in. "Maybe you should leave her alone Luke, I don't think that now is the time," he says as nicely as possible.
"I just need a second with her Louis," he says back. I was suprised at his nice tone. Louis glances over to me and I shake my head. I refuse to hear anything that he had to say.
"I'm sorry mate, she doesn't want to speak to you." Luke's face quickly turns angry and he glances at me before storming away. The old Luke would never have given up, obviously he didn't want to talk to me that bad. Part of me was glad that he gave up that easily and left me alone, but an even bigger part was disappointed that he didn't try harder.
I feel a little better now that he is out of sight, but the thoughts have returned and are racing through my mind. I take a giant gulp of my drink.
"Sorry about that, are you okay?" Louis asks and puts a hand on my shoulder.
"I will be," I lie. We walk to the middle of the crowd and meet the rest of our friends. Linley and the other boys all ask me the same question and I lie once again. As long as I have alcohol and don't see him for the rest of the night, I will be fine. Hopefully.
After a while, I am feeling more comfortable. I am not drunk, but tipsy enough to where I am happy. I was surrounded by friends and famous hot guys, there was no reason I shouldn't be happy at the moment. My friends however, besides Linley and Michael, are very drunk. I loved when Ashton and Calum got drunk, they were so funny. Louis was also a little drunk and kept hanging all over me, I didn't mind. Occasionally we would have to stop whatever we were doing and take pictures of fans with the boys. It still blew my mind that they were famous now, I don't think I would ever get used to that. Regardless, I was having a good time and was glad that I didn't talk myself out of coming.
My anxiety levels began to rise as the crowd got bigger and the alcohol along with the sweaty bodies against my own had made me hot. "I'm gonna go outside for a few minutes, I need some air!" I yell to Louis and Lin over the music.
"Do you want me to come with you?" Louis asks.
"No, it's okay. I won't be long," I say. Lin nods and Louis lets go of my hand as I make my way through the tight crowd.
The fresh, cold air immediately soothes and cools me down. I lean against the brick wall and take deep breaths to get my anxiety under control. Being in a tight space like that for too long was not good for me and it didn't help that it was extremely hot in there. I am the only one out here in the dim alley until the door swings open and out comes the face that I didn't want to see most.
"Allis." Luke's eyes are wide when he sees me as if not expecting to find me out here. I quickly stand up straight and make my way to the door behind him. "Stop," he says as he steps in front of me. "Please, just let me talk to you for a minute." He lightly grabs my arm, sending a shock throughout my whole body. It feels like it's been forever since I've felt that and it is so unfamiliar to me now, something that I have craved.
