After a nice shower, I attempt to get ready as Luke kisses all over my bare shoulders. I sigh a million times, but it doesn't phase him.
"If you don't stop trying to turn me on again we won't ever leave this room," I turn around and say to him as I jam my finger into his chest.
"That's fine," he says with a mischievous smile.
I lightly push him away and roll my eyes before turning around to continue putting eyeliner on my eyes. "Go get dressed," I say.
He laughs and leaves the room to do as I say. Seconds later I see his towel fly into the room from the mirror.
"I'm naked now you know!" He yells through the wall that separates us.
"You better not still be when I come out there!" I yell back with a laugh.
"Or what?" He asks.
"You are driving me nuts you perv," I say.
When I finally finish my makeup, I tiptoe to the doorway and peak around to see if Luke was actually dressed or not. I find him with pants on, but shirtless, as he is going through his bag on the bed. I watch in awe as his back muscles expand and contract with his movements. He looked so different from when I first met him, but he grew more and more beautiful each day. I can't help but sigh and hope he doesn't hear me and turn to find me staring at him.
As he continues to go through his bag, I manage to sneak up behind him without him noticing. I snake my arms around his bare stomach and laugh when he jumps a little. I rest my head against his back and inhale the delicious scent of his body wash. I place a soft kiss on his back before he turns around to face me. He looks down and smiles, which causes me to blush as usual. He tucks a strand of my damp hair behind my ear.
"I will never understand how I got so lucky," I say as I look up at him. I reach up and put my hand on his cheek, rubbing gently against the stubble that I surprisingly liked. It made him look older, which saddened me, but also ten times hotter.
"I'm the lucky one babe," he says with a smile before leaning down and kissing me gently. "But I do have to finish getting dressed now so we can leave," he says in a voice to mock me. I shove him onto the bed and grab my shoes from one of my bags.
"Ready?" I ask him when we are both finished.
"If you are." I nod and he takes my hand in his and leads me out the door.
We meet our friends in the lobby and I spot Calum and Abigail holding hands. I can't help but smile, but then see Ashton alone and realize he's the only one without somebody.
"We need to find someone for Ashton," I whisper in Luke's ear as we walk to reach them.
"We'll make that our goal," he says and smiles down at me. I nod in agreement.
We all pile into the car and decide to just drive to town before deciding on what to eat. We decide on an Italian restaurant that Abigial reccomends. She says that they put it in after I left so I've never had it. Luckily we are not mobbed again by the paparazzi and I feel like the only reason they found us at the airport is because One Direction had been there before us.
Luke holds my hand in his lap as we all talk and patiently wait for our food. I have to free my hand of his when I feel my phone vibrate in my purse.
Ben: Did you enjoy your little surprise at the airport earlier?
I smile and type back quickly. It feels like I haven't texted him in forever.
Me: I did. It was great seeing you, hopefully we can get together soon.
Within seconds he replies.
Ben: Haha, that too. I'll see you soon.
That too? I didn't know what he meant by that. I ignore my thoughts and put my phone back in my purse when our food gets here.
The food is delicious and we all finish quickly. After paying, we walk out of the restaurant and run into Liam and Niall. We are all surprised to see each other and laugh at our coincidental run-in. They explain that Harry and Louis are somewhere around town together of course and Zayn stayed in tonight. They're not staying in the same hotel as us this time. We tell them all about our incident with the paparazzi and they shock us all by being surprised about it.
"Yeah there was nobody there when we landed," Niall explains with a confused look. "They didn't know when we were landing so that's really weird that they found you guys..." He trails off.
We are all left confused but continue on with our night of exploring. As we walk, Luke swings my hand back and forth in his. I smile and hug his arm, staying as close to him as I can. The city has definitely changed a little bit from when I had been here last. I am enjoying the night as we find different shops and other places to see. Then it hits me.
I don't think Ben was talking about himself when he asked if I enjoyed my "surprise."
