After Luke showers and changes out of his concert clothes, he drags me from the hotel to the outside. In a couple hours, the sun will be setting and it is already starting to feel a little less hot than it had been all day. He finds our driver on the curb and opens the door for me. I scoot over to the other side and he slides in, closing the door behind him. An hour ago, we were in this same car and his mood was the exact opposite. Now he was cheery and excited, taking my hand in his and setting it in his lap. Before we start driving, he leans up to the driver and whispers in his ear. I imagine it is to tell him where to take us.

"And just where are we going?" I ask, hoping he'll tell me.

"You'll see," he says with a smile. I figured he wouldn't let me know.

"Can you at least give me a hint?" I beg.

"Just know that it's something that I've wanted to do for a really long time." I try to think of something that he's wanted to do and maybe hasn't yet, but I just can't seem to think of anything.

After a while of driving, we pull up to the curb on a street that I am familiar with. We park in front of a tattoo parlor that I had seen before, but never been to. Oh God, was he wanting to get matching tattoos? I panic, I don't think I'm ready for that kind of commitment. Of course I want to spend the rest of my life with Luke, but we got tattoos and something happened between us, I would have that for the rest of my life. I would have something on my body that would remind me of him forever. I couldn't handle that. Plus, I've never even gotten a tattoo. I'm not good with pain, so having a needle poke me over and over again isn't very ideal. I can't do this.

Why are we here?

I don't want him to know that I'm panicking, but I need to know what we're doing here. He takes my hand again and tugs on it lightly, wanting me to step out of the car with him. His touch calms me down a little, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't still freaking out about the situation.

I hop out of the car and onto the sidewalk, glancing up at the buildings that I haven't seen for a while. I still love being in Ohio, but I wouldn't move back here. I've grown to love Australia and we've also been to so many amazing places that I would take over this state.

He grabs my hand and leads me up to the tattoo shop. My nerves kick in again and I almost don't even want to go in. Maybe he's just getting a piercing. I'd be fine with that. Hell, I'd even be fine with matching piercings...Is that even a thing?

We step inside and I smell smoke and another strong smell that I can't fully grasp what it is. A woman covered, and I mean covered, in tattoos and piercings immediately walks over and greets us. She is extremely beautiful, long black hair falling down her back. She is obvously wearing fake eyelashes, but her makeup looks so good that you almost wouldn't notice if you weren't actually paying attention.

"What can I do for you guys today?" She asks with a smile.

He kisses me on the cheek and walks away, motioning for her to follow him. "Just go sit down, I'll be right there," he says with a smile.

I don't like this.

I walk over to the leather couches and pick up a design book as I sit down. Anything and everything you can think of is in here in all different shapes and sizes. I flip through the pages, browsing for one that I like in case I have to get one. Who am I kidding? I can't get one! But then again, I guess I can...What would be the harm? I feel like I never do anything spontaneous, this will definitely be something random that's for sure. I just don't know if I can get one with Luke.

A few minutes later he comes back and plops down next to me. A smile is plastered on his face and I keep wondering what he has planned.

"Soooo you should tell me why we're here," I whisper.

"Babe," he laughs. "It's a surprise, can't you just be patient?"

"Ugh, fine." I pout and give him the puppy dog lips, but still nothing. I decide to go back to the book and occupy myself until I can find out what's going on here.

About 10 minutes later, a man decorated in tattoos as well, steps from the back and over to us.

"Luke, we're ready when you are."
