Being the new Volturi Secretary and Caius mate

Voltera.

It was a beautiful city in Italy and you were lucky enough to land yourself a job smack dab in the center.

It was a secretary position, nothing fancy but it wasn't the position that mattered, it was the place. You were going to be a secretary in a castle.

Your new position was still being reviewed, so you weren't allowed to tell anyone. But it was great because they provided you with a free room in the castle. You were getting such amazing opportunities and the potential pay was amazing.

To be fair, you should've known it was too good to be true.

When you arrived you were greeted by a short, angel faced girl and two men who stood behind her. All three wore black cloaks and had red eyes.

You had to suppress a shudder to keep from being rude.

"Hello." You greeted and bowed your head. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Y/N. I'm very grateful for this opportunity." You looked back up to see that the three were already walking away, one of the men beckoning for you to follow.

Rude.

It took a few minutes before someone spoke again.

"You are being taken to meet the masters. Master Aro will decide if you are acceptable." The blonde's voice startled you, it was as angelic as her face. It was alluring despite her youthful appearance.

You were led to a large set of doors that seemed way too intimidating. For some reason it felt like you beyond that door was something that would change your life forever.

The doors opened, you looked to the floor and followed the three until you were told to stay where you were.

A man's voice spoke up. "Ah, you must be Y/N. You can look at us my dear, we don't bite." There seemed to be some amusement in his voice so you looked up to finally meet the man's gaze.

The room you were in turned out to be some kind of throne room, which made your bosses (or who you assumed to be your bosses) look like some sort of kings.

You looked at each one, starting with the one in the center. He had a strange look in his red eyes, it made you feel uneasy. Almost maniacal in some way.

To his right sat a depressed looking man. His red eyes seemed dead in a sense. He looked like he needed a warm blanket and maybe a good book.

Then you looked at the third man. Your eyes widened slightly. He was by far the best looking one, but also the angriest. He was glaring at you and shaking in his seat.

You had no idea what his problem was, but those red eyes creeped you out even more than the others. Does everyone have red eyes?

"Aro." The depressed looking one called out, his hand extending towards the middle man.

Said man, Aro, took the hand and closed his eyes. You were left there confused and forced to listen to the blond man's growling.

Seriously, what was wrong with him?

Aro opened his eyes and gave you a look filled with glee. "Oh Y/N, welcome to the Volturi." He clapped his hands together. "We're going to have a great time, won't we Caius?" He looked to the blond, creepy grin still in place.

Caius growled and seemed to disappear in the blink of an eye. He really needed anger management.

This job kept getting weirder the longer you stayed but you'd try to make it work. You looked at Caius' throne.

Even if some people were less than welcoming.
