It's well known that the Egyptians used to worship cats, and the Greeks had their gods and goddesses. But what would Demetri do if he adopted a little goddess of his own, a black cat?

He would name it Nyx, after the goddess of night.

She would be so spoiled, like... Utterly spoiled.He would have the fanciest cat bed for her, (even though he likes to have her sleep at the foot of HIS bed while he reads at night.)He would absolutely train her to be a little bit uppity and snobbish with some of the other Guard members.He would even train her to walk on one of those little cat leashes.Demetri would be so proud if Nyx were to "accidentally" throw up in one of Afton's spare shoes."That's my little goddess!😍"Felix didn't exactly take a liking to Nyx at first, mainly due to black cats being superstitious.He's since come around, occasionally stopping to reach down and pet the little cat if he sees her in the hall.Demetri will sometimes take Nyx with him to trials, despite the Masters' protests.His excuse?"My poor little goddess was feeling lonely!"Nyx has somehow earned the full respect of Jane, though nobody knows why or how.Alec doesn't even understand it.Demetri likes to train Nyx to try and find him, in order to keep her mind sharp.Her fastest time of finding him was approximately 2 minutes.He bought her a brand new diamond-covered collar for Christmas that year, complete with a tag engraved with her name on it.Nyx loves and adores Demetri, often jumping up onto his lap whenever she finds him relaxing in the Guard Lounge.She loathes Afton and Chelsea, only because they once tried to feed her cooked tuna.Demetri had to remind the two that his sweet little goddess "likes her kill fresh and raw".They didn't interact with her much after that, especially after Nyx hissed at Afton and tried to claw out part of his nose.Every Saturday, you can expect to find Nyx out in the courtyard with Demetri, catching mice and toying with them before letting them go.Overall, Nyx is Demetri's spoiled furbaby, and you can't tell me otherwise.
