Skye's POV

"Bravo Estrella and Avelino, you both excelled in our quiz again!"

I looked unbelievably at my teacher. What?! Tie pa din kami?! Kailan niya ba ako hahayaan makuha ang highest score ng mag isa?!

I looked at him sitting beside me. This guy.

He faced me and raised a brow. "What?" Napabuga ako ng malakas sa hangin, causing for him to laugh.

"You.. you always trying to surpass me!" Inis na sabi ko habang tinuturo turo pa ang mukha niya.

The tip of my finger touched his pointy nose kaya agad ko iniwas ito. He have this soft features na hindi mo mapapansin kung hindi mo siya titigan.

He is Xyronne Julian Avelino, Top of the class, known for having high grades and charisma, pinagkakaguluhan siya sa school and some even offered him to join pageants pero ayaw niya. He's being stubborn!

And of course, he's my greatest enemy.

"I succeed, right?" He lean closer to me. Nang makita niya na umatras ako, he smirked and bumalik sa upuan niya. Napahinga ako ng maluwag. Fuck.

"Siguro you should try harder." He said, almost in a whisper. He's getting in to my nerves!

Since the beginning of my education. He was always a step ahead of me in everything I did. Despite the fact that we've known each other for years, I can't stand his aura, he's too.. intimidating!

Pero kahit ang intimidating ng aura niya, his face has soft features. With his glasses on, mas mukha siya'ng maamo. He's just, handsome.

"Wag mo'ko tignan ng ganyan hindi ako ice cream, Skye."

Napairap ako kaya tumawa siya. Feeling ka! Anong tinitignan, ni hindi nga ako makatagal sa tabi mo!

"Yeah? I hate you too."

"I don't." He said in a monotone before going out of the room. Inis ko siya na sinundan ng tingin bago ko puntahan ang mga kaibigan ko. He would have 2 to 3 friends around him. He's not a social butterfly. Opposite of me.

"Hi girls! How is everyone doing today?" I greeted them as I reached our table. Nagulat ako nang biglang binuhusan ni Carly ng malamig na tubig ang blouse ko.

"Stop this act Skye. What a piece of whore you are!"

Nagkukumpulan na ang mga tao sa cafeteria and some are taking pictures. Ano ba problema niya?!

"Hey, chill we can talk, ano problema-"

"ANO PROBLEMA SKYE?! YOU OBVIOUSLY LEAKED MY SCANDAL VIDEO!"

Gulat ako na tumingin sakanya. What does she mean by that?

I reached for her hand, agad niya ito iniwas at sinampal ako ng malakas.

I looked at the crowd. Some were cheering and some were gossiping.

"Hey, I didn't do that! Best friend kita, hindi ko magagawa yun-"

"Ikaw pa? Ikaw pa na kaibigan ko ang makakagawa neto sakin Skye? Shame on you! Why? Dahil ba gusto mo si Brendon so you're doing this? Para sayo na siya kasi gusto mo siya-"

"Shut the fuck up."

I heard a familiar voice. Agad napatingin ang lahat kay Xyronne na tahimik na kumakain ng egg sandwich.

"You know, if mag aaway kayo umalis kayo dito. Istorbo sa kain."

He looked at me. Hindi ko mabasa ang mga tingin niya sa akin. It's something na ngayon ko lang nakita sa mga mata niya.

Umiwas siya ng tingin at bumalik sa kain. This guy, really.

Bumalik ang atensyon ko kay Carly at hinawakan ang parehas na kamay niya.

"Hey, I didn't do it okay? Let's talk-"

"Wag moko hawakan!" She said at malakas ako na tinulak. Nagulat ako nang may sumalo sa likod ko. I smelled a familiar scent of perfume.

"I said wag kayo dito mag away and you two are disturbing me." He said in a serios tone bago ako ipatayo ng maayos. He gave me his handkerchief before facing Carly.

"Touch her again, and you'll face detention."
