Skye's POV
I looked at my wristwatch to check my time. May 10 minutes pa ako. Tumingin ako sa kaniya bago tumango at nauna maglakad. To the nearest coffee shop.
"So, what is this about?" I ask as I took a sip from my coffee. Sinandal niya ang sarili niya sa upuan bago tumingin sa akin.
She looked at me with tension in her eyes. Nagtataka ako na binalik ang tingin sa kaniya. Una sa lahat, hindi ko alam ano ang pinagkukuhanan ng galit niya. Pangalawa, galit ba talaga yun or I am just overreacting here?
"Are you playing with him?" She suddenly asked. Agad ako nasamid kaya kinuha ko ang table napkin sa gilid ko to cover my mouth.
"What do you mean?" Pagtatanong ko habang nauubo ubo pa. She simply rolled her eyes.
"Well, in the bar, you have something with that other doctor, right? Even at the dinner party, I know you two had something. That doctor." She said I think she's referring to Marcus?
"Oh you mean Marcus? That's nothing serious. We're just friends." I said while chuckling. Hindi ako kinakabahan. Why would I? Wala naman ako tinatago kay Xyronne.
"Oh really? So ganon ka pala tumrato ng friends? Like how you treat Xy, right?" She fired back while giving me a sarcastic smile.
Confusion field my eyes. "What do you mean?" Eme eme to, anong friends. We're more than that.
"Well, Ang sabi sakin ni Xyronne, you two are special friends. Hmm, makes me think that maybe, you're having a connection with your other friend behind him." She said, making me laugh.
Nagpakawala ako ng pekeng tawa bago sumimsim ng kape. "Why do you mind? Do you like Xyronne?"

My heart stopped. On the other point, she's right. I'm not there when he needed me the most. Even my presence today is not enough para mabawi ko ang mga oras na iniwan ko siya.
