Skye's POV

"Thanks for today Xy." I said before giving him a small smile. He slowly caressed my cheek before giving me a soft peck on my lips.

After our dinner date, hinatid niya na ako pauwi. Hindi naman hassle and di naman traffic kaya nakauwi kami ng maaga.

"Let's meet again tomorrow? Or study together? Do you want to go somewhere?" He keeps asking me. I laughed at him. 

"Why are you so tensed? You're so clingy love." I said while giggling. Akala ko nagbibiro lang siya pero napansin ko na hindi siya tumatawa.

"I just don't want you to stress yourself at your home." He said while caressing my face with his thumb. I looked at him, confused.

"Why? Is there something I need to know?" I asked him. Mukha siya'ng nagulat sa tanong ko. Dahan dahan niya binaba ang kamay niya, bago umiwas ng tingin sa akin.

"I mean, you said dumarami ang mga attorneys at kausap... Ng dad mo sa bahay niyo.. B-Baka n-naabala ka na sa kanila..." He said, still avoiding my gaze.

Something is suspicious. Nagtataka ako. May gusto ako marinig sa kanya. Or, I'm expecting him to say or confess something to me.

"What do you mean Julian?" I asked him again. May.. May alam ba siya sa nangyayari.

Agad siya umiling sa akin. He held my face with both of his hands while looking sincerely at my eyes.

"Skye.. Whatever happens, I-I'm here okay? If you have nowhere to run to, I'm here, okay?" 

Kahit nagtataka, dahan dahan ako tumango sa kanya at binigyan siya ng tipid na ngiti. "I will." 

Habang pinapakinggan ko ang mga sinasabi ni Julian ngayon, unti unti bumabalik sa alaala ko ang mga sinabi sa akin ni mommy bago siya mawala. Bago niya ako tuluyan iwan.

Iiwan niya din ba ako, gaya ng ginawa ni mom?

Tumango tango siya sa akin before kissing my temple. "I'm not the one who should answer that question. Your dad should.. Okay?" He said in a soft voice. I gave him a smile bago tuluyan bumaba ng sasakyan.

Dahan dahan ako bumaba ng sasakyan at tuloy tuloy na pumasok sa loob ng bahay. As expected, may mga tauhan nanaman rito si dad. But what I heard today breaks my heart.

"I said cover up this rape case bago pa malaman ng iba! Ano ba ang hindi niyo magawa don?! I taught you guys are one of the best attorneys here in the country! Bakit simpleng pag-cover up sa rape case ay di niyo magawa!" 

Tumayo ang isang attorney sa sofa. "We're trying our best Mr. Estella. Mr. Poblacion, The CEO, is also suspecting you sir. Nawala na ang tiwala sayo ng Poblacion Corporation."
