Skye's POV
"Mom wants to see you." Xyronne stated while cooking. We're at his place tonight. He's cooking chicken curry for dinner. Sabi ko umorder na lang kami dahil pagod na siya but he insisted, so wala na ako nagawa.
Hiniga ko ang ulo ko sa table top. "I don't know. It's not that I don't want to meet tita. I am just... guilty for leaving."
To be honest, hindi ko alam kung sakali na magkaharap man kami ni tita Cherry. May galit ba siya na nararamdaman sakin, or maybe disappointment? Ewan ko, pakiramdam ko ay wala na ako'ng mukhang maihaharap sa kaniya. It's not easy for me to face her, after what I did.
Tumango tango lang si Xyronne sa akin. "I understand. I am not forcing you to do that. As I promise you, we'll take it slowly." He assured, making me smile.
"By the way, you look cute on that apron." I teased. I giggled when he gave me a small smile, not showing his teeth.
The apron have heart and some cute icons in it. Pinag suot ko rin kasi siya ng bunny headband ko na ginagamit ko pang skincare.
"Whatever." Pagtataray niya bago ako talikuran. Nakaupo lang ako sa stool, waiting for him to finish what he is cooking.
"How's Xavion? Hindi ko na siya nasubaybayan lumaki." I pout like a kid. He gave me a small laugh bago kumuha ng condiments sa ref.
"He's already an adult. Wag ka na mag alala doon. Kaya na niya sarili niya." He said. My mouth formed an "o".
"Kamukha mo siguro siya." I said. He made a disgusted face, making me laugh.
"No. Let me show you a picture of him. I swear, hindi kami magkamukha. Kung tutuusin, I am way more handsome than him." Pagyayabang niya while clicking something on his phone.
"I doubt that." Bata pa lang si Xavion ay nakikita ko na ang similar na features nila ni Xyronne. Ewan ko ba kay Xyronne at bakit hindi niya nakikita iyon. Its very visible.
Unlike Xyronne, Xavion likes games. He has this goofy attitude, opposite of Xyronne.
He lends me his phone. I gasp when I saw how his physical features changed!
"Oh my god, he kinda looks like you!" I said while staring at his face. It was a family picture. A graduation family picture to be exact. Mas bakas na ang katandaan sa mukha nila tita Cherry but she still looks pretty to me. Ganon din kila tito Lavin.
Napansin ko na naka toga si Xyronne sa picture, may maliit din siya na ngiti sa labi. I stare at the picture when I noticed something.
"This is our school? Right?" I asked while staring at the picture. I didn't have the chance to attend the ceremony because of... What happened.
