"Uuwi ka na?"
Tumingin ako kay Xyronne. Why? He wants me to sleep with him? Does he like me that much?
Chariz.
I faced Xyronne, The skies are dark and the moon shines brightly. I'm just staring at the moon, at their veranda. Tita said Juls will take me home. Sana nga sa bahay niya ako iuwi, baka kasi kidnapin niya pa ako.
Chariz uli.
"Why? Do you like me?" I asked him bravely. I saw how his brows frowned kahit naka salamin siya. Why he have to react like that? Nabisto ko ba siya? Did I caught him off guard?
He massaged his forehead. I saw the car keys sa kamay niya, hawak niya habang umiiling ang ulo. Did I say something?!
"Skye, Why are you always asking me if I like you? Do you even care?"
"Why? Because you like me?" I asked back.
"Stop, returning the question to me Vivienne." He said while looking into my eyes. Is he mad? I'm just asking!
I shrugged. Oo nga naman, Bakit ba sobrang curious ko. Mukha ba ako'ng may pake?!
"Nothing. I just want to know." I said, avoiding his gaze.
"To know what? If the feeling is mutual?" He said. I stood up and get my things, obviously avoiding his questions.
"Let's go." It's just a simple question Vivienne! Why can't you answer?!
I heard him a taking deep breath before escorting me to his car. When I entered, his scent and favorite perfume invaded my nose.
When he sat down, he immediately turn on the ac and starts driving. I'm still amazed, he's still young pero he's good at driving. He didn't even take driving lessons. He's a very fast learner.
Since we were young, teachers will always command him for being the behave and intelligent student. I am always with him since we were young. Pero hindi kami close. He's different when he's in school. He's different when he's home.
Sometimes I'm wondering bakit hindi pa nag-g-girlfriend si Xyronne. Marami naman nagkakagusto sakanya. Some of his friends are even teasing him about Carly.
Bakit kaya? Gusto niya ba si Carly? I mean, I can help him if he want me too. Gusto ko siya tanungin, I want to confirm it.
Pero there's something inside me na pinipigilan ako. Is it because I'm not capable of his answer? Kailangan ko ba iready sarili ko?
