"I'm Vivienne Skye Estella. You can call me Skye. Or maybe Vee. But you can also call me by any name you want. Wag lang pangit pakinggan. No bad-mouthing. I don't like that." Pagpapakilala niya sa akin.

Ang ingay niya.

Hindi ko siya pinansin at pinagpatuloy ang pagbabasa ko ng encyclopedia. Lagi na siya dinadala ni mom dito sa bahay after what happened to the burial. I don't mind. As long as hindi niya pinapakeelaman mga gamit ko.

"So what do you want to watch? Some childish cartoons?" She keeps on initiating a conversation with me. Day by day, I'm starting to get annoyed by her presence.

I am not used to having friends. I don't know how to start a conversation with them. It's too hard for me.

"Documentary. That's what I'm watching." I said, still not looking at her. Maya maya pa ay rinig ko ang pagpalakpak niya sa gilid ko.

"Good thing. I hate dramas too. It makes me cry." She said. Nang tignan ko siya ay focus na focus siya sa pagpipindot ng remote sa television.

"Then don't watch." Walang kwenta ko na sabi. She gave me an eyeroll, still focused on the screen.

"Whatever Julian." She said before smiling. There's something I noticed in her smile.

It's empty.

Days are passing by nang hindi ko namamalayan. Mabilis ang oras pag kasama siya.

"You two are getting close. I'm glad." My mom stated nang sinundo niya kami galing sa school. Napairap ako bago sinuot ang earphones. How come? Eh, lagi ko lang naman siya sinusungitan.

"Yes, tita." She said while smiling at my mom. I stared at her smile. She's smiling with no emotions in her eyes.

It's empty.

Agad ako umiwas ng tingin nang ibalik niya ang tingin sa akin. I don't want her to think na may gusto ako sa kanya.

That's not gonna happen. She's not my type.

Nang makauwi, My mom held my shoulders while looking intently at me. Hinubad ko ang earphones ko to hear her talk.

"She lost her mom at a young age Xy. Please be considerate to her."

Oh. So it's her mom.

I didn't even notice that she was having a bad time. When we were together, she would always have this smile plastered on her face.

She's good at hiding her emotions.
