'What a fucking lie I'm living.' Y/n thought, faking a smile as bowing in gratitude to all the people clapping at her.

Top important people of the country were gathered at the convenience center to hear about her new innovations that were going to help the Security Ministry to recognize and locate threatening targets efficiently.

Security cams around the streets, malls, airports, and concurred places were already functioning gathering information about suspect people, adding it to the large database of criminals.

With the new function, the recognition and notification would be in real-time, sending immediate alerts to the pertinent authorities to take action right away.

Little did they know that the worst of delinquents was going to get away with his doings, he had her under his claws after years of manipulation and blackmail. His profile would never get into the database making him a mere rumor.

Who would think that a stupid middle school project was going to get this far?

Yes, just the devil himself.

After being prized the whole evening, she finally got free and went to her penthouse in the middle of the capital city. Tossing her expensive heels at the entrance and walking to the wine storage, she got out the last bottle, it was weird because she had plenty before leaving, but quickly opened it.

"Y/n?" The voice came from the balcony.

'Fuck. What is he doing here?' She drank directly from the bottle while looking for a glass cup, not wanting to deal with him while she was sober.

"I'm home." She screamed from the kitchen tossing the rest of the wine into the cup. She saw him peaking his head from the balcony doors. "What are you doing here, Kisaki?" Her fake gentle tone was very convincing, even though he was clearly drunk. "Are you okay?"

"Nah... I sent Hanma to finish 'them'. All the years I spent planning the biggest achievement in history and it ends like this?" He tossed himself on the couch with a cigar in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other, he was about to cry for a moment, but he reconsidered it. He looked back at the woman at the counter. "What did I do wrong?"

'I can make a long list, buddy.'

"Nothing. I can't imagine why she rejected you."

"I need a distraction, come here." He ordered with a tough tone, he wasn't joking by now. She walked from the kitchen to the living room obediently, standing in front of him with a trace of fear. Who knows what he would be capable of in this state.

He signaled his lap for her to sit over and she reluctantly sat there, her cup of wine still in hand. "Tell me you'll stay with me, you, being one of the most loyal of them all."

He set his cigar on the ashtray and the bottle of wine on the coffee table before embracing her and burying his face in her chest.

The disgust was starting to build in the pit of her stomach but she ignored it to comply with his desires. "I think I had shown my worth and loyalty to you all this time." She hated to be alone with him, but if he gets angry, she knows what was next.

After years of trying, this was the only way to protect the ones she appreciates, the ones that were left at least.

He kissed her roughly in despair, all his anger was left on her lips, making her let the tears escape from the pain and frustration. His hands were grabbing her waist skin in a rough way she couldn't afford, but she continued ignoring her own pain. Things were getting heavier as he deepened his kiss before his phone started to ring.
