"We have to stop him!" Takemichi was hysterical, he seem to be holding on not crying.

The new partners met her at a park to tell her what Osanai had shared with them but she refused to believe it. There was no way a teen could have a so well-elaborated plan.

Provoking Pah-chin to fight Moebius, getting him to the juvie that led to an intern dispute which ended in attacking Draken... all this to let him join Toman? But he was accepted until the battle against Valhalla was a threat, does he has something to do with It too?

Well according to Osanai, he does and Shuji Hanma is his new peon. Damn the day she made a deal with him.

"Are you hearing what are you saying? This is ridiculous, how a boy would be guilty of everything that is happening? Besides, we're based on information from a guy who accepted himself he's an idiot, he has resentment against Kisaki and Toman, how can we believe him?" With her hands over her waist, she was walking in circles trying to process what she just heard.

Chifuyu was hunched in a swing with his head hanging in defeat, he knew nobody could believe this, but the other blonde was persistent. He stood his ground defending the fact that Kisaki was dangerous and was the culprit.

Takemichi placed in front of her, slightly shaking her shoulders and straight looking at her eyes when tears started to slip out of him. "We have to do something, Toman is at risk, Baji..." His mumble suddenly die when the boy's head bent a bit to hide his crying face.

Y/n sighed and brought him closer to an embrace, letting him whimper over her shoulder while rubbing his back to ease him and chuckled. "You're a crybaby." She let the time pass until he was more relaxed. "Takemichi, did you know him before he joined the gang?" He shook his head stepping back from her and wiping his face. "Then why did you punch him? Do you know something we don't?"

She crossed her arms before her and arched a brow suspecting him. Takemichi had to look away evading her eyes and stuttering unable to formulate any word out his mouth.

Letting out a long exhalation in despair, she looked at both apologetically. "Guys, it isn't me who you need to convince about this, imagine going to Mikey and Draken with this information, they would think you're out of your mind. We have no proof. As for me, I did think someone was attacking from the shadows... but Kisaki?"

She knows that he was a nerd kid, but this plan was so exaggerated for anyone.

Every time she refuses the idea, her guts remind her of the chills and goosebumps he inflicts her, even Kirito acted nervous in his presence. The wicked offer he made to Mikey, and the warning that Baji once gave her.

'He's not what it seems.'

Why did he leave the gang knowing that Kisaki was the real threat and leaving everyone to believe that he was a traitor? Which was the real reason he left and why did he keep it to himself?

"I hate to leave you looking like this, sweetie. They're making you work too hard. Are you sure you don't want me to talk to your teacher?"

"I'm all right, mom. I finished the exams, I'll get more rest from now on." Her reassuring smile managed to trick her mother as she embraced her before taking a cab to the airport. "Have a safe trip, let me know when you arrive."

There was no way she tell her the truth about her drained look.

Doing the project alone was the least of her preoccupations at the moment, the exams weren't a big deal for her either, but to keep her mother out of the real matter she lied to the woman.
