"GOOD EVENING, SIR!" The group of men shouted greeting the acting leader of Toman, bowing in fear... sorry, in respect.

The woman was rolling her eyes at all the formality shit but the one who hadn't stood up from his chair caught her attention. Takemichi seemed to be stupified more than scared but no longer after, he followed the lead of the others.

Y/n had felt his intense glare when he arrived as if he was trying to decipher something but she had shook it off thinking that he was also suspected her, but now that she was staring carefully at his demeanor, for some reason, she couldn't take her eyes from him, something was off.

She couldn't tell how long she admired him until the voice of the fake leader made her come to her senses. "Takemichi, Chifuyu, could I have a moment of your time?"

"Sure."

"Wait a second." Heads followed her as she walked around the table and stood facing the baffled and nervous man. The room was unbelievably silent, waiting for whatever was going to happen.

"I... Is there... some-something wrong, Y/n?" The man stuttered with visible sweat over his forehead and those eyes that could hold the world's concern.

"I was about to ask you the same." The woman encircled him, he was a mystery to her, looking from head to toe, then leaned against the table slightly sitting with her arms crossed. A nostalgic and tender smile formed on her face, while everyone was waiting for her to do or say something. "You haven't called me by my name in years, Hanagaki, or do you prefer Takemitchi."

'She caught me.'

No one understood what she was trying to achieve by this, some of them murmuring with each other and the analyzed man was more anxious with each second she looked at him.

"You have that crybaby expression again." Y/n stood in front of him faking to arrange his tie and whispered assertively. "I knew you were hiding something." With his apparel fixed, she patted his shoulders before sitting again on the edge of the table. "Well, maybe it's my imagination, heh. Sorry for the thrill, guys!" She shouted making the tension in the air lightened with her giggles and everyone rolled their eyes at the wasted time.

Kisaki came closer to her with a friendly face, placing his hand on the small of her back and reaching her waist, his mouth brushing her ear as he whispered. "You seem to be in a good mood, don't you want to join us?"

The mere sound of his voice was forming goosebumps in her, his closeness prompt her nausea and repulsion, his tight hold on her waist made her feel hopeless and weak but tried to stay collected. "I think I'll pass." She shoved him lightly to step backward, a thing that didn't seem to please him.

"Don't play dumb, you know he's around." His voice became more hostile approaching her again squeezing her wrist and with a gaze of rage, causing her to feel small and frozen. "I mean it, we need to talk."

Mucho who had stood up seeing that he was hurting her with his clench, had managed to make the man step away placing his big frame protecting her. "Man, she said no."

"Tch. Cancel that flight of yours and meet me at my office first thing in the morning! You know what can happen if you don't, right?"

Getting to see the crybaby face after too many years, made her remember those times when Takemichi fought against the odds, even knowing he had all to lose, he never gave up to protect his friends, his girlfriend, even the ones he didn't know so well.

Remembering that, reminded her of who she used to be as well.

"My princess, don't be upset about what people say about me. I might be a wolf but you... You're an owl and owls are warriors full of wisdom that defend honor and justice, so level-headed and logical, that they can address intense fear assertively."
