She almost sobered up from the fright that Toman was looking for her.

"No, I can't go back. They're going to kill me." She sat again on the lounger holding Rindo's arm and hiding her face from the 5th division's captain in front of her.

"No one is going to kill you, darling. They're worried for you." Ran was beside Mucho, an acquaintance from the reformatory, the only one who was brave enough to come to Roppongi because they respect each other.

"Come on, Y/n, you're wasting my time."

"Mikey always tells you not to talk to me like that!" She was still a bit sensitive and turned to yell at him.

"Don't use his name when you can't recognize his effort to find you." His words were making her feel more guilty than she was before. "Now stand up and come with me."

"Don't be so tough on her, Mucho. We will take her home later, is no big deal." The older was trying to calm him while Rin was rubbing the back of the shivering girl at his side.

"This is more serious than you think, Haitani." Rolling his eyes, the conversation was only for them to be heard, Rin stood to join their chat leaving her.

Something was wrong, the brothers looked at her from the corner of their eyes with pity when Mucho told them something valuable.

"Darling, Rindo is taking you home." Ran tried to make his tone as gentle as possible, she stood from the seat, knowing there was no way to convince him to let her stay with them, embracing him tightly.

"Thank you for everything, I'm sorry if I was a burden today."

"Are you kidding me? We did the job like a dream team. I should thank you. Now it's time to go home." He returned the hug for a moment and let her keep her way.

Confronting the tall angered guy, she bowed in apology. "I'll understand if you treat me like a traitor, I'm sorry for making you and the gang look for me."

"Don't apologize to me, there are others more worried for you. I owe you several times you lent me good pieces of information, we're fine. Now off you go, Y/n." His voice turned kind at the last, earning a smile from her.

They bumped fists before leaving with the younger Haitani. She sensed him tense on their way out of the courtyard but didn't have the guts to speak until he opened the door of the backseat of a black car. "Isn't it Mucho's driver?"

"He let us use it." His short answer made her feel self-conscious and opted to shut up and get in.

"Did he tell you something?" She finally said, fiddling with her fingers.

"That you recklessly isolated yourself the whole week, your mom isn't even home." He sent a sterned gaze that made her flinch and look away through the window. He breathed out and approached taking her hand, he didn't mean to make her feel bad. "It's okay to let people take care of you."

"She works so hard that I didn't want to be another weight for her."

"Moms will always be worrying nonetheless."

The ride was long and the silence was pleasant, her head over his shoulder and his head resting over hers, their hands were still holding and their fingers intertwined, he almost thought she was asleep until she murmured.

"Rin, I have to confess something." She waited for him to nod as a sign for her to continue. "I didn't like your friend."

He scoffed and clicked his tongue. "You sent me with her, remember? I didn't like you being so friendly with Hino either."

"It was for the welfare of the plan and it seems that I was drunk."

"Which plan?" He lifted his head disconcerted.
