"With Mikey here, we can win." The beaten Takemichi acknowledged in the hope they were saved.

"You sure? We're here because we chose to break the peace agreement. What would Mikey think of that?" For every hopeful soul, there's a hopeless one.

"Takashi, we're in this together. I fucked it up too."

Y/n tried to reassure his concern. She knew her friend was trying to keep his word to do what he could to take problems from Mikey. This made it worse, but he wasn't the only one to blame. If she had allowed the leader to handle things from the start, this mess wouldn't be happening.

They took their hand to cheer each other when the angel boy entered at ease to the church. "Merry Christmas! What are you guys doing on a day like this?" After being sweetly smiling, watching his friends holding hands, meaning the girl was back on their side, Mikey noticed the others and turned bleak. "Huh, the BD?"

He knew beforehand they were struggling. All the Toman boys were beaten and bleeding. He had something under his sleeve. Besides, how did he pass through all the soldiers? He couldn't fool her.

"I'm sorry, this is all my fault. I broke the agreement I had made. We are fighting them, as you can see." Mitsuya bowed at his general, putting all the blame on himself.

Following his lead, she did the same as him, showing respect and regret. "I'm guilty too. My ego blinded me. I thought I could handle this myself, but now were are in this hassle."

"My bro recognized the sound of your impulse. Then Baji said, 'only Misuya's bike sounds that sweet!' Also, when Y/n was almost hit by a car, he went wild. 'She was supposed to stay out of problems. Follow her'." Mikey chuckled at last.

Her knees became weak, making her hit the floor. The fact that the invincible leader was talking crazy broke her heart, but those words were truly something Keisuke would have said.

"Mikey, what are you saying?" The boy at her side was in shock, fearing for his mental health.

The hall was silent, everyone thinking the same. Toman's leader was losing his mind.

"So, you're the invincible Mikey?"

The blonde's face went from nostalgic to naive when the heartless leader blocked Mikey's sight. "I just want to ride with the guys again. If Mitsuya dies and you take Y/n away, Baji and my bro will be sad."

"Mi..." Before she could talk to him, Taiju burst into irk at the lack of interest he showed, hitting him in the face and bringing the boy to the floor. "MIKEY!" She fastly crawled in his direction while the bigger laughed, praising himself.

"Even the bell chimes to bless my victory!"

Arriving at his side, the girl took his face between her hands, holding back the tears and ignoring the tight knot in her throat. "Mikey?"

To her surprise, he didn't pass out. He was just processing the blow and took one of her hands that caressed his cheek. "Let's put an end to the acting."

She released a breath when the boy started to get on his feet. "Let him alive so he could feel the weight of his sins."

"Got it." The horde of boys coming to ambush the tyrant halted, watching their leader recover. He menacingly stared at Taiju's back. "Prayer time is over."

Inupi's words held concern because, after all, Mikey was a Sano like his respected senior. "Just give it up, Manjiro. You're a pebble in his military rule."

"I guess it will take more than a hit to shut you up. This is all the invincible Mikey is made of? How disappointing."

"Taiju, you should have left when you could."
