Her plan of getting information went strangely easy. Kisaki told her every detail he knew.
His plan went right how he wanted. The horrified girl went straight to her friend telling him all the information, that way Mikey would finally accept him in Touman.
"I don't like this, Mikey. I have a bad feeling." Y/n was making circles with her tracks around the room.
"If what he said about Valhalla is true, we will need him and his squad. We can't risk it." He seemed to be deep in thought with his hand under his chin and gaze fixed at the distance while sitting on the couch. "Don't tell anyone, though. I don't want to arise crisis."
The girl halted in front of him, looking down with a defeated semblance. "You're the boss, you know what's better."
"You seem so stressed." He pulled her from the hand towards him and she somehow ended up straddling him with her hands over his shoulder, stabilizing her posture. He had embraced her waist and approached his face to the point their noses were touching. "Let me reward you. Once in a while, you need to relax."
Mikey? She could taste his breath mingling with hers, making the girl begin to melt into his arms. The boy's gaze, for an instant, focused on her lips, and she noticed it, making Y/n's pulse quicken with nerves.
Recovering his senses, he looked into her eyes and placed his angelical smile. "Let's head to that shitty party you wanted to go to." His arms lose from her waist, letting her stand from his lap with nervous motions, still agitated.
"But you hate those things."
"Go and tell Emma, she'll love it too. I'll call someone so I won't die of boringness while you have fun."
Maybe this was indeed what she needed after a rough period, to be a normal teenager who go out and party with her friends on weekends.
The project was taking a lot of her time, exams were around the corner, and processing Pah's arrest and Draken's attack affected her more than it should. She became a bit paranoid thinking someone was attacking the gang from the shadows.
The fight with Baji and the fact he was distancing himself from all had her crestfallen. By that moment, she wasn't mad anymore. The way he looked at her, how his lips sweetly craved for her, the jokes, the way he freaked out when she didn't pick up her phone, the long nights talking on the phone, the subtle jealousy, she missed it all. Y/n knew the boy would never use her, but why would he lie?
To end with the most draining thing of the week was that encounter with Kisaki. Toman was at a clear disadvantage against Valhalla, owning around 300 people willing to crush her friends. She couldn't handle the thought of it.
For that night, she would shake off all the negative thoughts as she, with her arm linked with Emma's, headed to the party with her four escorts, who sent death glares at every boy who dared to look at the dazzling girls.
The party was from the richest kid in the district. His house was luxurious and enormous, with a great courtyard with a pool, a DJ playing music, colored lights, tables with drinks and snacks, and different groups of people. Some were playing drinking games, others were dancing, some couples were making out at the sides of the yard, and the junkie group was smoking in the far.
As they walked around, Y/n was greeted by all types of people making little chats here and there, introducing Emma to them since the boys preferred to pick a spot to hang out between them as they watched from afar.
"How does she knows all these people? It's crazy, there must be more than a hundred persons and she has greeted more than a half." Draken was taken aback seeing that as soon she was with one group, another would come to her taking her attention.
