The guys' idol entered the shop with his usual glee, greeting the three former black dragons and the young blond apprentice.
Y/n's dad had become a regular customer of S.S. Motors to the point he enjoyed the company and the talks for hours with the young men.
"What you're up to, my boys?"
"Waka snapped his transmission again." They laughed together, making the said one roll his eyes. "Also, Benkei says he wants to marry his one-year girlfriend."
"Any advice, sir?"
"Yeah, don't do it. But if I had to say something, the most important is that make-up sex doesn't apply to every fight." He made them laugh and eventually ended up venting about his marital problems.
"Have you ever considered divorce?"
"I mentioned it once, but she swore to change. She did for a short time. Later, everything turned the same as it was. I gave up on my projects so the woman could reach her dreams. I try to keep things in peace, you know. I don't want to affect the kid. She's the only good thing that had come with this commitment."
"Dammit. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I'm ready." Benkei got the hit of reality.
"DAD!" The girl entered with bags hanging from her arms with groceries. "You left me alone for you to come and have fun?"
The man cleared his throat, subtly signaling the guys to change the topic.
"Hey, princess!" The rest greeted, except for Inupi.
"I told you it was your punishment for being a troublemaker."
Young Y/n pouted with puppy eyes before leaving everything on the floor, exhausted from carrying the bags on her own, and went to hug her dad's neck. "He deserved it."
"What did you do, angel?"
"A boy in my class has been bothering me the entire school year. He pulls my hair, makes ugly faces, and says mean things to me."
"There's no doubt he likes you." Waka wiggled his brows to tease the girl.
She put on a displeased expression to refuse the idea and continued her tale. "The other day, Riku hit me with a soccer ball and laughed with his friends. I threw a baseball at his face, maybe I broke his nose, but Keisuke blamed himself."
"Remind me not to play baseball with her."
"Also, he has been stealing and copying my homework. I told the teacher, but she didn't believe me. I politely asked him to stop, and he took it as a joke, so I started to do fake homework for him to copy it."
"You're a smart kid."
"Riku is about to fail the year, and he got mad because I'm getting my usual grades. Today, he tried to snatch my notebook, and we struggled until he made me fall. I had enough and smacked his head with a book in front of a teacher. I won a day of suspension."
"That's my girl, not taking shit from boys, but you're still grounded."
"You can call your big bros anytime to scare that brat." Shin placed his arms on the other two guys' shoulders as he winked his eye. "Or perhaps Inupi wants to do it."
"No, thanks." The boy kept on ignoring her gaze.
The big man took some of the bags saying goodbye to his young pals and leaving with his princess. Following both, the rest of the group went off so Shinichiro could close his shop.
