"Kenchin, I'm bored. Let's go for a ride."
"No, it's freaking snowing."
"I'll drive. Come on." Mikey smiled wide at his reliable friend.
Draken hadn't an option because his general was already preparing himself for his mind-clearing motorcycle ride.

"It was a success if you ask me." The girl was carrying bags to the alley trashcan along with Kakucho. "Did you see their faces? All the kids were so happy."
"Heh, they were, right?" He was as animated as her while carrying the trash as if it weighed nothing before returning to get their things and leave. "We should thank that anonymous money donor, without that, this dinner wouldn't have happened. I wonder who it was."
"Probably a humble one, isn't it?" She covered her identity with naiveness, faking not knowing where the money had come from.
'Sorry, Taiju. The orphans need the money more than me."
"You want me to escort you home?" The oldest orphan was a true gentleman in her eyes. He cared for the children and was loyal to his beliefs, somebody who would be worth getting along with. She was glad to get to know him this year.
"Thank you, Kaku, but if you wait with me for my mom to pick me up would be enough. Also, we can give you a ride if you want."
The two were getting out of the event place, and he followed her lead, taking a seat on the front stairs in the freezing weather. "I was also wondering why you care so much for them? Were you...?" Embarrassed, the boy noticed how insensitive the question could be.
"An orphan? Adopted? No. I lost my father a couple of years ago, but, at first, it felt like I was. I don't want to take off my mom's merit as a parent, I sure love her, but at last, the one who was always at home was him." The nostalgia was hitting her before remembering that the one at her side was genuine parentless. "It's not the same situation, I know!"
"At least you understand. Most people don't or don't care." Kakucho supported his weight with his hands behind him after letting out a huff that could be seen as white steam by the cold. "Your phone is vibrating."
'Damn, I was so busy I forgot to stay alert.'
"Koko?"
"This thing got out of hand. Your friend was set up and left alone to fight Taiju. You were right, hon."
She heard him struggle with himself, making her adrenaline boost, peaking her hair.
"What is it?"
"The ones supposed to kill him appeared. Turn out they were the boss' sibs. Someone is going to die and is not Taiju. Hanagaki is insane. It'll be impossible he could beat him. Someone else arrived. It's our call, gotta go."
"Koko, wait!"
The boy next to her was trying to get her attention in dispair, but Y/n was lost trying to call back, and after the other didn't pick up, she noticed a voicemail.
"Y/n, I'm going to finish everything. You and my family will be finally free from his violence. He won't touch you or anyone ever again. I enjoyed the little time we got together. You made me feel safe, Y/n. I'll do the same."
After hearing how decisive Yuzuha was, her legs involuntary made her stand, fearing the girl and Takemichi could be in danger. "Tell my mom I had an urgency!"
Kakucho stood baffled on the stairs, watching her leave in a rush.
'Yuzuha, of everyone, why you? Most importantly, why now? Where the hell is Chifuyu anyways? Fuck you, Kisaki.'
