It got late talking with her mom about what happened the week of her absence and she didn't suspect her of taking so long in the bath.
Sadly, she would have to travel again, deciding to hang out and take avail of the short time they would have.
The next day after school, her mom picked her up so they can go shopping, watch a movie, and have dinner. A perfect mother-daughter date.
Her feet hurt after loads of walking over the stores and carrying the bags with new clothes. Y/n waited on a bench for her mother to return from the bathroom, resting her feet and leaving the bags aside. She hung her head over the bench back taking a breath.
"Good grief, am I hallucinating, or is Miss nose crusher." The murky voice yet playful made her snap her eyes open in surprise and look at the guy. "Long time no see."
"Mr. Roppongi." She talked with an easy air and a sweet smile, trying not to seem too surprised.
The girl learned the hard way that he's not a guy with whom you should mess. It was better to follow his play and be liked by him and his brother. The younger came behind him without noticing her, wearing a bored expression.
"It's done, brother." The blonde with blue strands let him know before looking in the bench's direction. Even if it was for a short moment, the boy dropped his jaw with a low gasp and wide eyes, hoping they wouldn't notice.
Rindo looked away to cover his faint blush before the older brought him closer, crossing his arm over the other's shoulders.
"Don't be rude. Greet our girl properly." Ran teased, knowing the crush he had on her.
"Hey, Rin." Y/n stood shyly, chuckling with her hands holding at her back. "That look suits you."
"Isn't he the cutest?" Ran poked his rosy cheeks, mocking his brother.
Displeased, Rindo pushed him away and fixed his attire. After adjusting his glasses, he finally felt prepared to face the girl with a handsome half-smirk. "Y/n, what a pleasure to find you here."
The boy extended his hand, and she expected to shake it, but he kissed the back of it, bowing like a gentleman. All he could think about was how good-looking she had grown and the chances of asking her out now that she had the age for dating.
He impressed the other two with his changed demeanor, from awkward and out of words to making it appear like it never happened.
"I can say the same. We haven't seen each other since that summer festival, right?"
And what a horrible one, she thought.
"Are you free to..."
Ran rolled his eyes, sensing his brother had the whole girl's attention, and placed himself between them, cutting the other. "What if we take avail you're around to hang out? I know some places." His sleepy lilac eyes were subtly eating her, and he licked his lip before putting on a smug smirk.
She didn't like the way the situation was taking. Even if he was asking, the hiding demand was there. They wouldn't accept her rejecting them.
"Come on, darling."
She hesitated a little, searching for a kind way of turning them down. "I would be flattered to hang around with the owners, but It's not a good time, guys. You see..." Her voice faded, watching the disappointment and anger on their faces.
"Sweetie, let's get going." The woman announced her arrival and noticed the guys with her daughter. "Oh, you've found some friends?"
The brothers got shocked, forgetting the insistence.
