Flashback

"Mom! I'm going for a ride on the go-cart!" 7-year old Cameron yelled.

"Put your helmet on!" Gina, his mom, yelled back.

Cameron went outside and did not put on a helmet.

As usual, he got on his go-cart and went for a ride. His vision started getting blurry, or so he thought, because he saw a cream-colored fluffball run across the street.

Before he knew it, Cameron saw a girl screaming at him and he quickly stopped the go-cart.

"What in the world is wrong with you?!" The 6-year old girl asked.

"What?" Cameron looked at her, confused.

"You scared the living daylights out of Grover!" The girl picked up the fluffball that had run across the street.

"Grover?" Cameron asked.

"Yes! My dog, Grover!" The girl exclaimed.

"That's not a dog! It's a freaking fluffball."

"Grover doesn't appreciate your snarky remark."

"I don't care."

The girl looked Cameron over. "Hey, are you new around here?"

"Have you seen me before?" Cameron rolled his eyes.

"Gosh, no need to be rude." The girl stuck out her hand, "I'm Day Caslaw."

"Cameron Dallas." Cameron said, slowly shaking her hand.

"You're the kid who moved in across the street!" Day smiled.

"That's me." Cameron said, "My mom woke up one morning and decided she wanted to move to boring Montana."

"Hey! This is my hometown, and you are not allowed to call it boring... Only I can." Day said, "I can tell already. We're going to be bestfriends."

End of Flashback

- Cameron's POV -

The girl across the street. Day Caslaw.

She's the one who makes my heart beat faster.

Day is the only girl that I have an eye for.

She might be tiny, but damn it she's mighty.

And I will stop at nothing to get her.

- Day's POV -

"Peyton!" I sighed. "Cameron's not going to hurt me. He's my best friend."

"Day, he's a player." Peyton exclaimed.

"What if I told you that I don't trust Jay?" I smirked, "Because I don't."

"How many girlfriends has Cameron had?" Peyton smirked back.

"About as many boyfriends as Paty has had." I laughed.

"Paty? Like, your sister?" Peyton sat up.

"Yeah."

"So Cam does one-night stands only?"

"Exactly."
