- Cam's POV -

"So do you do this to all your first dates?" Day asked. I was making her clean my shirt because I spilled ketchup on it while we were eating dinner.

"I've never had a first date." I lied.

"Really?" She believed me.

"Yep. I just do the nights." I sighed.

"Well, maybe you should stop," She said with a shrug.

"Stop? What?" I asked.

"Stop fooling around." She looked at me. "Here's your shirt."

"I can't stop." I said, putting my shirt on.

"Why can't you?" Day asked, seriously.

Should I tell her? I don't want her to find out from anybody else. "Just a habit."

"If you ask me, it's a bad habit." Day muttered.

I lifted her chin up so that she could face me. "Does it bother you sweetie?"

"No, I mean, well, no." Day looked away.

"I have an idea." I said, "Come on."

"Cam!" She said as I pulled her along. "We're not gonna leave the car, are we?"

"We're walking." I said.

"Ugh!" She pouted.

"Get on my back you big baby." I said.

She jumped up on my back and I smiled. "Let's go."

We finally arrived at Big Dipper Ice Cream. We live in Missoula, Montana and it's really easy to walk anywhere.

I let Day get off my back and we went inside.

"Ooh!!" Day's face lit up as she looked at all the ice cream choices.

"Can I help you?" A familiar voice said.

- Day's POV -

A girl about Cam's age asked us what we wanted and the color drained from Cam's face.

I took in the girl's features and instantly matched her with the girl that Peyton told me about.

"Ahem," I coughed. "I'll have the huckleberry ice cream in a waffle cone."

I nudged Cam with my elbow.

"Oh, um." Cam blushed and looked around. "I-I'll take the Mexico-uh, Mexican Cok-sorry, um. I-"

"He'll have the Mexican Chocolate in a waffle cone." I spoke for Cam.

"I'll be right with you then, Cameron." The girl glared at him and walked away.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Let's get out of here." Cam said.

"What? No. I want my ice cream." I said.

"Well, here it is." The girl handed us our cones. "So leave."

Cam pulled me out of there as quick as he could.

"Hey!" I pouted. "You made me drop my ice cream!!"

"I don't care." Cam said, not looking back.

I stopped. Cam kept walking, but when he realized what I was doing he turned around. "What the hell, Day?"

"I'm not moving until you tell me what's going on."

"Stop acting like Peyton." Cam said.

"How would you know how Peyton acts on a date?" I questioned.

"I-I just, God Day stop being so stubborn." Cam breathed.

I connected our lips to calm him down. I pulled away and looked into his eyes. "Cam, you're going to tell me why we ran away from Big Dipper. And you're going to tell me now."

Cam took a deep breath. "I-
